Dropped off a sample with fully completed requisitions for tests. They only did one test. I not only had to go back 4 days later to get another kit, but also get another requisition from dr out of town. Labs can’t make obvious and glaring mistakes like this as it was not a complicated task, and people need their results. This location needs more accountability I have never had a lab mistake like this in my life. The waiting room was not packed with people, so I can’t assume they were overwhelmed.
Edit April 2024: I've used this lab the last 3 times I needed lab work done, and something has changed. The wait times have majorly improved. My experience going there lately has been positive. Everyone has been super nice, lots of workers there now. I had my appointment for 8:10am this morning and I was done by 8:30am including a urine sample. Well done. I've changed my rating from 1 star to 4.nUse the online booking system. It's the best.n---nWorst lab I've been to. They have very few workers and the wait times for even appointments are ridiculous. They say they are busy but ALL the labs are busy, and I don't wait this long with appointments at other ones. This one must not have a system or enough workers or they are just really slow. Terrible service at this location. Never going back to this one again. I'll have to drive further I guess.nReading past reviews, it looks as though nothing has changed. They really don't care. Terrible public service. They should be ashamed.
This location is definitely poorly managed and receptionist lack basic customer service skills. A room full of 2 dozen people and their estimated wait time is 35 minutes. I had an appointment booked fortunately and still had to wait over 30 minutes. Not to mention, the receptionist had to ask for paper confirmation of appointment rudely.. meanwhile I was on the system already and she clearly just couldnt see. I would definitely spend an additional 10-15 minutes to drive to Callingwood, much more efficient location.
Staff aren’t very friendly. There were three people in the front desks when i walked in, i was waiting with another patient in line, but none of them even acknowledged us. I made an appointment but in their screen it said i was a walk-in as you can see in the picture. There were only 7 other people waiting but i waited awhile before my name got called in. I will stick to the Heritage location next time.
Customer service was great but I’ve never in my life had blood taken that had been so painful. The girl even pushed on my arm where the needle was in, I felt it inside my arm when she did this. My inter arm has been sore ever since. I was offered juice to help as I felt extremely faint and was offered to lie down as well. People just need to know how to use needles properly.
