I purchased an 18ft Boat two weeks ago and decided to repower, I found that Alberni Power Marine had a 115hp Mercury and asked them to remove old engine, put in new hydraulic steering, fuel tank sensor, new gauges, and install new motor and sea test it, etc. The final quote was on the 14th July 2022, they said three days to do the work, THEY DID IT IN TWO DAYS and had the boat tested and ready to go on the 21 JULY 2022. FROM QUOTE TO COMPLETE IN 5 WORKING DAYS!!!!! With Nick in sales it was 10 out of 10 for communication, and every detail that he said they could do and would do was done. Nick asked at every stage what I needed in terms of small details that came up with the install and for the final day they were short three employees due to sickness and still worked hard for me to get the boat ahead of schedule. Their shop is VERY clean, professional, and organized, and to top it off they came in $500 under quoted work. To say I am pleased is a vast understatement, I would recommend this company without reservation for any work needed. Thank you Alberni Power and Marine Richard Morgan Very Happy Customer
Having purchased several recreational vehicles in the past I am very pleased to say that dealing with Nick and the team at Alberni Power and Marine has been the best experience. They were knowledgeable, and very good at just knowing what we might want. Through the whole process they were excellent, and I highly recommend if your looking to get on the water, you go see their team, simply amazing.
Nick at the team at Alberni Power & Marine are top notch! Sent them photos of what we were looking for and they provided a few options to pick from with a clear explanation of all the differences between each. Easy process to order and really good pricing. We will use them again for our next motor! Thanks guys.
I seldom ever do a review but had an experience of great customer service that should not go unnoticed. I was in dire need of a new 20 hp motor for my tin boat with electric start and power tilt ASAP. I was able to find one at Alberni Power & Marine when all other dealers of several manufacturers told me it would be months at best away as they had no stock. The AP&M website said they had the largest stock of Mercs in Canada and I'll not argue that one. Nick in sales got the motor ready for me asap and a couple days later I picked it up and took it to the cabin and mounted it and love it. Its bolted to my 14 ft Lund SSV and looks and performs great. I'll be calling them for my marine needs when they come up!!

The fine folks at Alberni Power and Marine have hooked me up with a very nice 15hp high thrust EFI kicker motor and custom bracket, a mind blowing 250hp V8 4 stroke, and a complete rewire including all new SS thru hulls, valves and bonding and grounding system. Their work has been superb and they had the best prices I could find! The team there is very professional and I feel that I can trust them to do any job to the highest standard! They have been open and honest and provided great service when I needed it. And both those new mercs have been stellar for performance and reliability! Great shop!!
I was looking to downsize from my 9.9 Merc kicker to the new 5hp Sail Power Mercury Kicker. Nick not only did a tremendous job explaining everything from breaking the motor in, to optimal performance, to what preferred oil and lubricants to use. Top notch service, I will be back to get Nick to assist me in re-powering the boat with a new main motor for next season - would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. True customer service.
I have dealt with Brad, Devan and all at APM for several years. Always great service. Most recently as I was leaving Clutesi Marina, my engine over heated. Was fortunate to get back to dock. I called APM and they said bring boat in. The repairs were done in less than 24 hours. In a world where price seems to be the driving force, service can be less than good. I am sincerely appreciative of the great service they once again provided. The boat was repaired and taken to its destination at Toquaht Bay less than 48 hours after the breakdown. Highly recommended
Bought a Crestlliner 2050 Sales team were awesome as well as the owner.super happy with them and they have a great parts department and great prices.waited a year to do this review and still super happy with the hole place.
