Akemi Sushi

Poor quality sushi. The avocado rolls are twice as small as other places. look for picture comparison with a tube of lipstick! Other rolls were just a big mess and I coudnt even tell what I was eating.

My favourite local sushi place for takeout. High quality, creative and tasty rolls, good prices. I always go for the mixed platters and have never been disappointed.

Absolutely delicious - great portion size, and lovely service. I ordered for takeout since we're all trapped at home and they called to let me know when it was ready, were ultra-pleasant on pickup, and very reasonably priced. Excellent quality - fried items didn't taste oily, but fresh, and rolled items were perfect temperature. Really great lil gem.

They're closed, apparently permanently. Their website will happily take your order, then cancel 30 minutes later saying the restaurant could not accept it. Calling them immediately hangs up. In person, the door is locked and inside, all the furniture is gone.

Delicious sushis, very fairly priced, it was ready in no time, vrey nice people and they threw in a soup. We'll be ordering again for sure! edit : unfortunately we received sushi that clearly smelled moldy and bad. I suppose it happens, but I have not received any response despite trying to reach out to them through website and text. Too bad.

For those that says "staff don't speak English nor French" Is a bit false, they speak well and you can communicate well. The food is amazing, honestly. No sushi that I bought over 10-50-100$ tasted better than these ones. The price is amazing, so is their food. I definitely suggest other people to visit. It's like what they say. guetto looking place serves the best kind when you expect the least from them.

My favorite sushi joint for pick up. I'm always happy with the quality and the dragon eye is hands down better than any other I've had by miles.

Ordered online. It was correct and taste was good. Then small details. Some rolls were unmounting. Ginger and sashimi were very tick, not elegant at all. I’d eat again if I were passing by, just not sashimi as it was overpriced.

The communication on the phone to place my order was really bad and complicated. The chicken in the miso soup is squishy, that texture is disgusting. I ordered dragon eyes, they have no taste at all, there's a tiny tiny piece of fish hiding between all the rice. You have to ask and pay an extra if you want the special sauce that usually comes with dragon eyes on the side. The delivery took almost an hour even if they told me 30 minutes and it's a couple of streets away from my place. Would not recommend.

I've been a regular for years - great food and usually great service - but today they argued with me for 5 minutes saying that my house wasn't in their delivery zone I politely explained that it is, and they've delivered to me many times before. She then said she was too busy to deliver to me tonight. Happy they're doing well but don't appreciate the lie about delivery zones nor the unreliability
