African Food General

Tried this hype African food place for lunch while we were in Paris. Restaurant is located in a beautiful alley. We came just before they open, and few people are already there waiting too. If you want to try, please make a booking beforehand because they can be really busy. We were lucky enough to easily get a table on our visit. We ordered their specialty dish, which is African grilled chicken, served with their special green sauce and grilled plantain on the side. Rice and 3 different types of sauces also came with the set we order. We also tried their grilled prawn set gambas. Food was okay, but I couldn’t say the hype justifies it. Bear in mind that the portion is quite big, so probably order 1 set for 2, and since they grill it fresh, waiting time was quite long. Try it if you are curious!!

Place to eat African chicken with special sauce. Really like green sauce although I don't know what it is. 1 portion can be eaten by 2 person since they will give you half of chicken, it is really big. The Sambal is really spicy.

I made reservation in advance due to my friend recommended. It wasn't crowded when I visitted but I waited for a long time. Staff forgot my order and only paid attention for other guest except us. It seems if you speak french is a plus for this restuarant because they will pay more attention to you.

My favorite place in Paris. I visit here everytime I come back to Paris. I always come for lunch time because it is less people than dinner. Highly recommended!

We booked at 8 pm but it’s not available so we have to wait another 30 minutes without any ‘sorry’ word! We ordered for some drinks while waiting for the foods. We’ve wait for an hour before we asked them how many minutes we have to wait more. The answer is they don’t know! So we were done for waiting by didn’t know how long I have to wait. So we have to wait for more than an hour for nothing but payed for only drinks. And all they can do is NOTHING. I came here a few time. The foods are not bad. But the service is

Terrible service, terrible customer service and the food was not as good compared to the past reviews. We arrived for our reservation at 8pm and they start serving at 10:30pm. They keep taking the food outside of the restaurant and never apologize for the long wait.
