Charged me for an expensive porcelain crowns on my four front teeth… the thing is they were so yellow that I lost my confidence smiling. You can tell the difference in color with the rest of my teeth. She Dr. Nasima Thobani told me that it was my fault because I agreed with the color when she actually never even showed or asked me the shade of tooth that she picked!!! Never will I ever go back to this dentist!!!Dr. Nasima Thobani Now, I had to pay out of pocket money for another dentist to re-do my front teeth! Horrible!
first time going here and Dr. Thobani was already trying to sell me invisalign which I told her I didnt need then she got very condescending towards me. Very greedy and rude! You dont talk to people like that especially if you want them to come back. After I got my filling I never went back here. Meadow lakes dentist was much more professional and actually cleaned my teeth.
Dr. Thobani and her team go above and beyond to make you feel completely comfortable, your care plan is thought out and verbally discussed prior to your visit , paying thorough attention to every small detail. I would highly recommend Dr. Thobani to all!
It is obvious that Dr Thobani loves being a dentist. She is very passionate and precise with her work. I have been very happy with my dental cleanings and new crowns over the years. It’s like she’s designing a masterpiece!
I want to thank Dr. Nasima Thobani, DDS for doing such a wonderful job on my new dentures. I have very happy with my new smile. She truly a professional in what she does, I highly recommend Avance Dental to anyone who is looking for a good dentist. She can provide the service the way you want it done. Her family is very nice as well, loving, caring and good people. Thank you very much.
She is literally what dentist nightmares are made of!! 1. She continues to drill even though you are in pain-I had a molar filling done by her and I let her know that I was in pain but she continued to drill yelling at me that my teeth are too sensitive and “encouraging” me on that she was almost done when I had tears running down my face. I had pain in that tooth like 3 months later and my new dentist told me that she had damaged a nerve and I needed to get a root canal. 2. She shames you- she yelled at me about how nobody gets a cavity in their bottom front teeth but went on and on about why I had cavities..she even yelled at me that I was holding the mirror in the wrong hand when she had me hold that grimy mirror. 3. They just billed me with no explanation and I haven’t been to them in 2 years!!and paid/covered by insurance at that time to my knowledge After every visit they send a text asking for reviews which is probably how they got all the good ratings and honestly, she’s “fake nice.” Please adhere to the warning of the other one stars. I can tell that the front staff is trying to do their best but honest she is horrible and condescending. Do not go to her. I am still traumatized from her.
This Is The Worst DENTIST EVER! Dr.Thobani , would literally hurt you and not care. I stated to her multiple times It was a uncomfortable feeling/hurt because she was literally poking at my mouth & she continued to do it. She also super money hungry all she wants is money. She doesn’t know how to talk to people & I try to be so respect to her but that’s no longer gonna happen if she continues to be rude to me. YOUR A BUSINESS, BE PROFESSIONAL. I never leave reviews but she definitely took me to that point to WRITE a review about the TERRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL business that she has, she even gossips about other clients that she have. I CAN NO LONGER DEAL WITH HER!
I had lots of work done by Dr Thobani, I saw Dr Thobani first time few months ago when I had an emergency , my front tooth broke with the crown on it after only few months, she agreed to see me almost right away, compared to my previous dentist that couldn't find time for me until late afternoon, so she not only fixed what other dentist messed up but also did it quickly reducing my stress of walking around for a whole day without a front tooth. I really appreciated all she did saving my tooth and crown. She did an excellent job. She also found an infection that I had no idea about and referred me to the endodontist, which I was very grateful for. Dr Thobani has great bed site manners, really knows her stuff, always recommends the best treatment , and explains everything very well. She is very caring. Her staff is also very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend doctor Thobani for all dental needs. I will be back for sure. I am glad I finally found a great doctor. I also prefer small practice over the big dental office because I don't want to feel like I am just a number and that's how I felt with my previous dentist. Dr Thobani is amazing , best dentist I have ever had!!!
