Acme Scrap Iron & Metals is a family owned and operated business that has been around since 1975. We offer fast, friendly and reliable service. Acme Scrap Iron & Metals is located at 16405-130 Ave. in Northwest Edmonton, Alberta. Our Edmonton based recycling facility processes all types of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We have a strong commitment to the proper handling of materials and meeting current environmental standards. We have a wide variety of equipment to unload, move and sort materials in our yard including backhoes with magnets, grapples and shears, wheel loaders, bobcats, etc.

Friendly staff and easy in and out also top dollar paid. I’ve tried the others, this place seems to be the best of all, keep up the good work.
Staff were nice , place was clean, however the guy weighing scrap metal combined my clean bare and bright copper 1 straight lengths of unused copper pipe with the separated solder jointed copper and weighed it all as copper 2. Lost out on 85 pounds of copper 1 $$$ and when asked why I was given a round about explanation that made no sense. I feel burned..
Overall great experience. I especially appreciate the gift card from the guy with the bright yellow shoes to his pizza restaurant. Will be back

It was our first time bringing a truck load. The staff was not helpful in explaining the process, and the operator with the magnet was down right rude! And you would never be able to get a car hauler through that chaos. Will be going elsewhere.
Hands down the WORST prices in edmonton. Guys at the scales are nice but the rest off the staff is just rude and acts like your wasting there time when your waiting to get paid. GO ANYWHERE ELSE THIS PLACE HAS THE LOWEST PRICES IN EDMONTON.
Took some old mailboxes and steel rods there. They ripped em off the back of the truck real quick. Michael hooked us up.
Go see norm and his staff they’ll take excellent care of you. Highly recommended
Didnt think in was gonna get such a good pay out. 100% recommend over any of those Southsider scrapers
