Triple H South Side Bottle Depot

Hello readers, I am writing this review in a quest to uncover one of lifes great mysteries! "IS THERE SUCH A THING AS AN HONEST BOTTLE DEPOT"? To help uncover this strange mystery I have decided that I will honestly Audit deopts and post my results! This is simple, bottles are clearly labeled and it is easy to separate and count. 1L and over 25cents and under 1L 10cents. I separated the < 1L and bagged a count 190, the 1L or > was 47. This was very easy to count, I'm sure my young daughters could do this accurately and the depot attendants are professional sorters aren't they? When I submitted my bottles I first dumped the > 1L for him to count. I then told him the next bag was sorted with 1L and over, it clearly states this on a sign in the depot at 25 cents for 1L and over. Well as you see in the picture only 29 bottles were tallied as 1 or over. Pretty bad for someone who counts bottles for a living, could this be on accident! Unusually also his count was actually 11 bottles more than what I had, was this a ploy to try and confuse me? Just to clarify bottle depots are paid 1 cent per bottle so under paying me $2.90 is like someone turning in 290 bottles. In fact I had a total of 237 so the depot earned about 122% extra with underpayment. Imagine if you could just miscount a little and earn an additional 122% on top of your wage without any repercussions! Ok so I was taken for almost 10%, not bad you might say but it's your money folks. Would you be satisfied if your employer paid 10% under your earnings? The only reason for 3 stars review is that they were freindly and smiling as I was being skimmed. For those who claimed this is an honest depot, do an audit and In fact I implore everyone to do this at ALL bottle depots, it really didn't take much effort. Maybe one day we could say there is an honest depot! Cheers Folks! In Reply, The egg white clearly shows a recycling symbol and you are not the only one with a video count! They've helped us with several bottle drives for a local cat rescue, and I highly recommend them! They drop a truck at our location, pick it up when the drive is over, sort all the bottles quickly and efficiently, and usually have the bottles sorted same day! Very friendly people.

I have been coming here for over 2 years now, when it was first found it gave the most fair amount in all of the city. But the last time I've went, looked away from the screen for like 5 seconds and the person there changed the amount from 25.33 to 18.06. And I asked why, he said that it was a mistake that happened 3 lots back.

Best place to take your bottles. Staff are friendly and quick.

I've been going to other bottle depots in the city that are closer to where I live and then a colleague of mine introduced this location to me and since it is close to my work, I come here now. The people are friendly and the place is a lot cleaner than the other depots I usually go to. Worth the drive. Thanks for a great experience! Highly recommend!

If I could rate this place 10/5 I would!! I drive out of my way to come to this location! The staff are all so nice, it appears family owned & the service is so quick and easy.

The boys at Triple H are always giving a warm greeting and a smile from the moment you walk in. If you have alot of bags to bring in they will help you to unload your vehical and carry the bags in for you. Iv been to a few other bottle depots and most in the city are shady and untrustworthy as they will miss count or make it hard for you to deal with but not these boys. They can count out a 150.00 worth of bottles in ten mins. They do there jobs with pride and a smile and always want to help give the best they can. If your ever around the area drop by with some bottles and try the out rule of thumb a tip for them here and there don't hurt. There jobs are not easy and it's dirty as well give these guys some respect and be happy they are there with a smile.. thank you boys for all your hard work and commitment at Triple H Bottle Depot..
