Abakee Cottages

Beautiful location and cozy cottages. The views of the lake with mountains are beyond words! It was within walking distance of Weirs beach but on the end of a dead end road so still secluded feeling. The cottages have full kitchens and private rooms so it was a great family vacation spot. Staff and owners are always so nice and friendly and constantly working behind the scenes to make everything look great.

It's the perfect spot on lake Winnipesaukee. My family has going to Abakee for 50 years. The cabins all have a great view of the lake. Easy access for boating and swimming. The staff is always helpful and polite. Looking forward to our stay again this year.

We found this place a few years ago and I'll tell you when we leave i cant wait to go back. Great for families to reconnect. Less than 5 minutes and you are at Weirs Beach, take a boat ride on the Mt Washington to see how absolutely beautiful lake Winnipesaukee can be.

My wife and I have been returning for more than 40 years. All our children and grandson and most of our friends and their families, stay as well. We never miss a year, even though we travel everywhere, we never miss a week or more at Abakee! Once you stayed once, you'll understand why. The cottages are cozy and well maintained. And most of all, they treat you like family!

Started going as a kid abt 14 years old with my parents... loved it as a kid...the boardwalk is close walking distance..the beach is nice and clean...cottages are well maintained. The staff has always been great!!!. My brother and his family continued to go every year since...I stopped going for abt 20 years due to life changes..I went back for the first year last 2014 with my family and its was great. ...hasn't changed a bit...loved it as a kid..love it more as a adult...A truly great place to take your family on vacation.....I truly look forward to going again this August..and will continue to go every year..

My family's vacation spot for five decades. Family owned and operated. A beautiful spot with cottages right on the lake. Perfect for all ages.

This place is perfect for large families, it is a family run business with tremendous views of the lake. There are plenty of cabins to reserve that are small but roomy enough. Cannot recommend enough for large family vacations.

Its an amazing location the people who own it are very nice. The cottages ate set up like its home! Its a great place to bring family.
