The Margate Resort

We had our annual company party here. Wait staff was excellent, happy and kept the appetizers coming out. Bar tender was good kept the drinks full. The room we were in was very spacious for 50 people. We did stay the night as well with a lake side room. Amazing view first thing in the morning. Would be better in the summer. Would definitely recommend this place for events and vacation stays.

Excellent resort! Nice big rooms. Great service. Clean. Tons of amenities. Stayed for the New Year's celebration and it was fantastic. The food was excellent and the band was great. My only quip is the lack of outlets in the parking area for block heaters. I hijacked an outdoor light to plug my truck in. It was -10 overnight.

Behold the Beauty Salon in the Margate... The best! One stop shopping for hair & nails and skin care. I love this place!

It looks great on the outside. If you don't care about the pool, which is the coldest indoor pools ever, or really terrible wifi, which was the slowest, and a breakfast that is worse than a super 8, than it would work. But I wouldn't stay for more than a night. Also if you have small children be careful on the pool so slippery and the stairs tile is so sharp. Just not worth the price.

Went to a comedy show in a lower level function hall. Facility was great. Nice atmosphere.
