Sun Valley Cottages

HORRIBLE, NEVER AGAIN! Went there hoping to have hiking trails for the dogs. There isn't any unless you drive to them.. I went there to have a fire, that's why you go to cabins right, instead of a comfortable hotel room? The chute had a metal bar dangling into the fire, NEVER seen that before. Next thing you know the cabin is full of smoke and the alarm is going off. My husband goes to the office the guy says it's doing that because it's not cold enough out, 39degrees isn't cold enough. Doesn't even bother to check it out. The wood was difficult to light because it wasn't seasoned. So now I'm not happy, I go to the office, the guy comes to the cabin and says, oh it's open and don't worry about the bar hanging there I have to screw it back up. No offer of another cabin or anything? Mind we were the only ones there except two other couples who just showed. The futon is as hard as a rock and the bed was do uncomfortable. The guy seemed more concerned with the smoke detector being taken down than the fumes that were gagging us. He said put it back up and put tinfoil over it. Well after no sleep and there was no way I was going to have another fire, we left the next day. Now mind you they already had our money, 180.00 for the following night, you would think they would offer something in return for the horrible stay, nope...Never Again and I don't recommend this place at all.

Love it owners and the people who work here treat you like family everyone's so nice so relaxing love this placee

Rooms were nice and warm with a good view, beds were very comfortable. Having to drive to check in and out was inconvenient.

I like the cottages here. Nice place to stay.

I had an excellent evening there. We had a nice function outside the staff there was excellent all my needs were taken care of and we ended the evening will everyone was pleasantly surprised on how it went. We would definitely do another function event there
