We popped in here last Monday for a late/quick dinner while passing through Salmon Arm. The onion rings were some of the best I’ve had at an A&W in years, and our burgers were great too. The best part was the service though. I can’t remember the young man’s name who was at the front register, but he was really nice and helpful.
These guys can’t get an order right to save their lives, tried ordering off door dash a couple times in the last few weeks and each time they forget either a sandwich a side, or both. They never include extra condiments when they are ordered and it dosent matter what type of drink you order it will always be a root beer that you get. Absolute dumpster fire.
The staff were friendly, at least no issues at the pickup window but both of our burgers teen and mozza were pretty sad. I'm not sure if it's normal operating procedure but they both had only one piece of bacon, and tasted not great. The teen burger was.. bland. And I generally experience A&W patties to be a bit salty. The onion rings also were not great, seems like they had been sitting. Lots of inconsistency on the seasoning, just patches seasoned somehow, with others not seasoned at all. I did eat a few before taking the photos shown below. But ya sad day.
It was fast and cozy and tasted great
The employee Michael has a really good personality,she has patient even though my family was thinking for over 15min,the food also came really fast.deserved a high rating!
