This place was so awesome!!! My boyfriend and I were on a road trip and stopped by for a bite. I forgot my wallet in the women's bathroom and didn't realize until I was all the way in Halifax. They graciously held on to it for me and kept it locked in a safe until I was able to return a week later to pick it up. Not only that, but the man who I spoke with on the phone on Sunday night (Aug 27th), had to deal with me, drunk, while they were closing, as I desperately tried to negotiate with a bouncer to let me in to Lower Deck without my id (which was in my wallet). It didn't happen. But, the man who I spoke with on the phone at this A&W was patient and kind and had excellent customer service skills! That guy deserves a raise!!! When I returned and picked up my wallet (with everything safe and sound) I wanted to buy a bunch of food to thank them and they told me I didn't even have to, but of course I did anyway. Burgers were off the chain. No antibiotics! So great! Such wonderful, fantastic, amazing people. Go there. Buy all the food. 5 stars. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The staff was openly hostile toward myself and my girlfriend upon arrival.(Surprising as neither of us knew any of the employees) On multiple occasions. (2 as we decided to give it a second chance. Everyone has a bad day once in a while) I have dined at many A&Ws as I enjoy their food and tap root beer. however this place can go out of business for all I care. It was so unacceptably rude that other customers apologized to us for the employees and manager. Plus they also got the order wrong and when I politely asked them to fix it about a 5$ difference the manager scoffed at me acted about as unprofessional as I've ever experienced. if I could vote less stars I would. food was probably 3 hours past throw timers and the pop was flat and over syrupy flies were buzzing around at the counter and the garbage looked like it'd gone all day without being cared for. simply put the more I looked for something to redeem the visit the more surprised I was at the overall lack of respect for an eatery of any kind. Disclaimer: I'm not even comparing against fine dining I'm literally using my judgement based off of a fast food structure. If A&Ws are going to provide that line between fast food and restraunt quality this store should be lifted up as the example of what not to do.

Fantastic and friendly staff, good food, retro feel. Keep your eyes out for the suckers they get, they are worth trying and it's their signature flavor

Excellent food (for fastfood). Speedy service. Very nice staff. Diningroom was clean.
