A Pleasant Surprise at This A&W Location!nnWe recently stopped by the A&W at 3120 17 Avenue SE in Forest Lawn while on holiday in Calgary, needing a quick breakfast before hitting the road back to Saskatchewan. I’ll admit, I was a bit hesitant at first given the area’s reputation, but this location pleasantly surprised me.nnThe first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. There was a hand-washing station right at the entrance, which was a nice touch. While I didn’t check out the bathrooms, judging by how clean the rest of the place was, I’m sure they were in good shape too.nnThe staff was friendly and efficient, and our breakfast was prepared quickly and tasted great. It was exactly what we needed to fuel up for the long drive ahead.nnOverall, I had a great experience at this A&W and won’t hesitate to come back next time we’re in the area. Don’t let the neighborhood deter you—this spot is clean, welcoming, and perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Very unhappy with the quality. It was a takeout meal, the double burger was overcooked patties were dry, small looking and overcooked way overcooked even the hamburger bun I don’t know how was burnt on the bottom this burger looked very small. The onion rings mushy mess. I only live 3 km from this A&W. It was in the bag for maybe five minutes through most of it in the garbage very unhappy this is not the first time we’ve been disappointed this A&W in Forest law .
It was monday night. Approx 1 am, I ordered like 50$ worth of food at drive thru , even I had already asked for extra ketchups, that middle aged lady gave me like 4 ketchups. Upon asking for more she harshly replied, “there’s 4 already now putting 3. Thats should be all”. Could have said that politely. Zero sense of customer service.
I have had food poisoning twice from this location, besides the rude workers who make rude comments about white people in their home language farsi not one canadian employee only foreign workers with no ethics in customer service or food safety. Horrible customer service and bad food.
Horrible service today June 26,2024. I ordered my food ,then waiting for my coffee and put napkin to my tray. One guy behind me said this is his tray. I told him this is mine. And staff also said that is not my tray. I told her that I come earlier than him . I should get my food first . Unfortunately, I got my food at last . I am not happy with that . And the staff didn't apologize.
