88th Street Espresso

These guys are so nice and make great drinks. I have never had a bad experience here, i appreciate them all. But recently i was there and I barista was very sweet and kind to me and took the time to talk to me as I had received devastating news about my moms health. She was so kind and I appreciated it so much. It was wednesday evening around 5 pm Jan 25th. Her name escapes me, but I wanted her to get kudos for her delicious green tea watermelon drink and her caring ways. Thank you!

The owner needs to be immediately informed of the practices going on with their establishment. I have been stolen from 3x now. Unfortunately I see now that's it's not happening because of one individual, but multiple. I was not handed a receipt to sign or an opportunity to tip. This is the 3rd time they have done this in which after checking my bank account, they gave themselves a $3 tip. This is absolutely dishonest and illegal. I hope the owner will be able to speak with their employees before they find themselves in a legal situation.

Coffee was great. The barista was wonderful. Love this place.

Very friendly lady at the window! She gave my dog a free treat! I got a cold brew pumpkin pie, tastes delicious. I now rate this place more highly than Starbucks.

There's only one reason why an espresso stand can stay in business for 20 years. All of the batistas are always in a good cherry mood and they make such great coffee. Definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Service was ok, the barista seemed distracted and had someone hanging out with her at the other window the entire time which was unprofessional, we drove back past the stand about 15 mins after getting our drink and the same car was still standing there. I asked for a "chai with two shots of espresso" and she didnt put any coffee in the drink. The chai drink was stale and tasted weird. We stopped at this stand on our way to Bigfoot Java and decided to try 88th St Coffee instead, bad idea. The level of customer service, attentiveness and drink quality of Bigfoot Java is the reason I'll keep going back there instead.

Really good coffee and frappes. The staff are always quick and efficient. I go in at different times of the day and all the staff have been really friendly. Especially Bella and Sophie. If you like coffee and smiles, try this place out.
