Pleasant mannered staff, good size portions of fresh food, reasonable price.

People were super nice and friendly. Despite the busy rush due to canada day, the owner was on top making sure customers got their food. We were the last ones to leave and they never rushed us out. Even the bartender was super friendly towards my special needs brother, he even made that extra step to communicate in sign language and interact with my brother, something I don't come across too often. Food is mediocre, but i was surprised by the friendly and out going staff! Will go there again!

After getting our tickets for our Parliament tour we went here for breakfast as we saw it the day before as we toured the city and it was 2 minutes away. There was no daily special on the weekend but both got a simple 2 egg, bacon, home fries and toast breakfast. We were promptly served and our orders taken. The food arrived quickly, hot and with good portions. Price was very reasonable for the city. Being a quiet little restaurant it was a great place to sit and let down for 30 minutes with some breakfast. It felt like a local resident breakfast joint. Total with tip came to just under $19.

Good food for an early morning special. First time I'd ever had Deep Fried Homefries... And I have to say their good! It was quite desolate as I was staying at the Capital Hill Hotel, and ventured the 2 streets to come here on a Google search in a SNOWSTORM. The reviews might seem bad, but to be honest, that just set the expectation bar to be raised! Overall, will go for another breakfast here if I'm nearby in the Capital Region again.

Was there on the afternoon on Friday July 27. The food is not good. Salad didn’t even look like it was tossed. Just started on the nachos when we found a hair in the nachos. They asked if we wanted another one but we were grossed out by then so asked them to take it away. When we go the bill we saw that the nachos were being charged. We had to ask them to take the nachos off the bill. It should not have even been on it!!!! The smoked meat sandwich I ordered wasn’t good at all.... way too dry and way to small for the price. We will not go there again!!!

The server was great even when she was under pressure. The food took forever to be served from the kitchen and when asked to speak to the manager he refused to talk to us. We ended up going up to him and all he made was excuses. The best one I got was "I'm not a server". I do not recommend anyone going to this restaurant. I also really hope that the server we had leaves and goes somewhere else. We did give her a tip because she did so well under the situation.

Terrible French toast which was rubbery, was given 4 whipped butters and of those, 2 were already opened. The hash browns were extremely salty and no spreads were offered for toast. Our waitress was unbelievably rude, waved us into the place rather than walking us to our table and cutting one person off whilst walking to the table. Had to request cutlery and our waitress was barely seen during our visit. The bathrooms also smell like an outhouse. Never will I recommend this place to anyone.

I ate at the nice, clean outdoor patio. Had their "homemade" fish and chips. Not homemade, it's actually frozen from a box that can be bought at a local grocery store and rebattered. Salad was just a bunch of lettuce thrown on the plate with no dressing. I had to eat the salad and fries so that there was enough room to cut the one piece of fish which was cold by the time there was enough room on the plate for it. When I asked to speak to the manager the two servers plus their friends from off the street in street clothes at that all came over to try and convince me that the food was actually good and not the gross fake food that it was. Took 15 minutes before they even went to get the manager then I waited for another 5 minutes before he decided to come out. The manager was reasonable and respectful and gave appropriate customer service.

Terrible service and mediocre food. Maybe because we are Asian Canadians as the other customers seemed to get better service. The manager / owner tried to change us $2 extra for a sandwich and refused to change the bill for us because she accommodated us as we told her we were in a rush. She only changed our bill when we insisted that we would not pay. Then she throw the bill at us. I would try the food trucks outside of 90 Wilmington st instead.

I went to this place for lunch with friends, I ordered a beer and the waitress asked for my ID. I hold a valid driver’s license from Ontario and I was born in 1989. The waitress took the ID inside and after a couple of minutes came back and affirmed that I wasn’t the person in the picture. In this specific picture I have my hair down and the day I went to the restaurant I had my hair in a ponytail and I’m a little bit tanned since it’s spring. I understand that the restaurant might have the discretion to take this type of decision, however the waitress was so rude since the beginnning that obviously we decided to leave. She acted like she was doing us a favor and not providing a service.
