Nice spot to grab lunch while out shopping. Try the French onion soup, it is delicious. Great atmosphere with friendly staff.

Comfort food. You come for the smoked meat, slaw, pickle and poutine. All are above average and you leave happy. My favorite thing about Nate's is the breakfast. Come before 11 and get the best breakfast deal in Ottawa for the last 30 years.

Always delicious. The waiter definitely seems like he's part of management has been delightful both times we have visited. Atmosphere is great too!

Great breakfast spot in Downtown Ottawa. Went there with a few co-workers for breakfast this morning and it was pretty quiet. Service was fast and the food was well balanced plus it's only $5.99 for a two egg breakfast meal - which is amazing. Would recommend a visit!

Some of the best smoked meat sandwiches outside of Montreal. Highly recommend this spot. The staff are very friendly and the service is always fast, even for the huge lunchtime rush. A great place for breakfast - easy to take out, too.

After a long day, it's good to sit on an outdoor patio and enjoy the downtown life bustle past you. That's exactly what Nate's offers you, along with a cold craft beer and probably one of the best sandwiches in town. A touch pricey, but worth it.
