7-Hi Budget Motel

Im rating 5 stars based on value and expectations. Too many people rate budget hotels like they are luxury hotels. This place served its purpose. Room is small, bathroom is smaller, but as exspected. Friendly staff!

Not sure what's going on here... but the owners "investors" and management need to get it together. We booked online hoping to stay here for the week. I arrived to check with my baby and the front office had a bunch of junk everywhere, smells like someone's smokes in office, manager lady is not a good manager, seems to be on drugs was slurring her words. Turns out they were closed for the month and we had to get a refund. She was no help with the refund and happy we booked with Priceline because they helped us out a lot.

Check in was a bit sketchy. Not sure if I ever really checked in or not, because they never asked my name at the front desk just grave ne a code to the room. Front desk was empty when we got there with a note saying when they'd be back and a phone number to call. Tried calling, but they never picked up and they weren't back at the specified time. Rooms didn't have deadbolts. However, it was clear that the room had been redone recently. Good looking carpet and blanket on the bed. Everything looked clean. There weren't any towels other than a hand towel and two wash cloths, though, either.

The room seemed to be recently redone and appeared to be in nice condition. However, when we tried to check in the manager we had to wait a half hour for someone to show up to the office, and then when the manager did show up she was on the phone the whole time with a sibling and had someone else check us in who clearly did not know how to do so. The room also had no deadbolt from the inside and just had a combination for the front door, so anyone who knew the combo could just walk in at any time they wanted. We didn't really sleep that night.

Its small but it was clean and the manager was great, got there almost at midnight and we just called and she assisted us! All other places were charging over $100!! FYI bring you own soap.
