Wonderful accommodations, Rick and Debbie can't thank you enough for the wonderful tour by boat including the five eagles!! Tips for enjoying the area were spot on and we started each day with a breakfast to die for, we will be back!!

Beautiful views with outstanding views. The owner however is a grade A a hole! We are not from the area and pulled in to the public parking with every intention of going inside and getting some information as we were entertaining the idea of staying there at some point.
We drove up what appeared to be a road and quickly realized it was an entry to some (again beautiful) campgrounds. So we turned around to back to the main building.
As we were driving out the owner rudely yells out the window (from his vehicle), "YOU SHOULD WATCH WHERE YOURE GOING!"
He accused my boyfriend of being on his cell phone and almost hitting him; (he was neither on his cell phone or looking at his cell phone; our vehicles were NOWHERE near colliding). The owner then proceeds to very rudely and loudly tell us we were driving all over his laen (it was a dirt road that he continued to driveon after we left).
We apologizef and explained to him we had traveled south for an event that day and were entertaining the idea of staying at his estavlishment when he ignorantly cut us off (and killed the idea of us EVER staying there) by asking us how stupid could we be to not know we had driven on private property?
We left and will NEVER go back. Beautiful view but with someone like that in charge we shall go elsewhere and share this experience with others.

Great owners. Will go back again some day. Ask for a slice of Strawberry Rhubarb pie. They will accommodate if they can... Don

We spent 2 lovely days at the Lodge. HIghly recommend this place if you are hiking in Baxter State Park. Rick and Debbie really know the area and are not only wonderful hosts but also great guides for your stay in the area.
Looking forward to returning during the winter to experience another season in the area
