Me and the lady had a pleasant experience at Four mile house! I had the pesto linguine with salmon. The salmon could maybe baked one less minute. All the flavours worked very well though! Wife had the roast beef and it was very tender. The honey garlic wings are super nice a crispy and the mushroom caps were super flavourful! Garlic toast was very well toasted crispy/soft and not chewy. The decor kinda creeps me a little.
A good place to hang out and eat when visiting the lagoon or royal road university garden. They have happy hour from 8:30 but the restaurant closes at 9. They have a beautiful front yard with lots of blooming flowers. Food has traditional fairs and some newer fusion like stir fry with rice noodles, like a pad Thai. The brewery is quite good with lots of people hanging out here.
This was our first time stopping in. We had the brunch items, eggs benny and breakfast poutine. All very well done and tasty. Only issue I wish the potato hash browns were crispy and not greasy. Eggs were cooked perfect. Great selection of craft beer and regular beer. Their own beer is amazing. Server was great and brought our drinks pretty quick after being seated. Great atmosphere in a very old building.
The expert attention to detail in all this food is amazing.... freshness in every bite and the customer service bar has been set very high. COVID protocols followed perfectly...

Roast Beef Din was great with a solid portion, good veggies, tasty gravy, and delish horseradish. The atmosphere was great, their brew hit the spot, and the waitress was great as well. I fully recommend this joint
We had lunch here and the food was very tasty from the mushroom caps, to the fish & chips and the beef dip - kudos to the chef! Seasonal lavender lemonade hit the spot!
Great place for a hearty lunch. Stopped on the way out of town and was very pleased. Menu selection was good. Didn’t need a huge burger, so went with the fish and chips. Everything was well prepared and delicious. Fries, were good, fish tender and crisp and the slaw was great. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. A good, filling lunch. As we were continuing on, we chose not to enjoy the beer.
The service is very good. The gardens are wonderful. However everything else about evening was mediocre. Fries on poutine cold as was the gravy. Cheese curds ok. Mushroom caps looked good but Mushrooms small which made the topping over powering. Our Seafood Chowder didn't have all listed ingredients or portions of them too small to taste. The coating on Calamari overdone which over powered the squid. I don't know what is going on with View Royal. I have not had a good meal there yet? We haven't been here for dinner before, so when we last minute decided to try it out, we were pleasantly surprised! A warm atmosphere, and wonderful service! The food was very good, much better than I expected! We look forward to returning!! Update: Apparently hit and miss. Went a second time, service was severely lacking, and food came out cold and greasy.
