Judge Steenland should educate herself on how mental illness affects one's ability to work and just because someone is being treated does not mean they can hold down a job. It was insulting for her to ask me if my meds were working and why I'm not working if they are. Prescription drugs are not magic pills. Social security thought I was bad enough to be classified as disabled so what's it to you that I don't work. You shouldn't charge astronomical fees for someone who committed a first time offense. I know she won't see this message, but I honestly hope that one day someone will educate her on mental illness and our crappy mental health system in America.
