Cool bar. Great views of the city. Real big city feel for a Milltown on an interstate spur. Decent selection of spirits. Average beer and wine selections. Food is above average, only because it is elevated bar food quality is average. It was expensive but worth a stop at night for the views and atmosphere. Convention center and hotel underneath so, many business travelers and convention types. I could recommend this for someone staying at the hotel or anyone off of the street.
Even in Iowa you have found my favorite spot for food and resting my head . It’s this hidden hot spot. On the 16th floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton. The steak is amazing and was topped with mushroom gravy and served alongside of potatoes and vegetables. The view is breath taking and the staff is wonderful. Thanks for great food . My complaints to the chef . Safe travels
Homestyle meal that took me back home to hawaii KanakAttack. The best part was the chefs and their Daimond Excellence of customer service. Went far beyond what I expected. Thank you so much Aloha.
Made a reservation online, arrived on time, then waited 10 minutes in line to be seated at a table. Service was lacking and they should have been better prepared and staffed when Alliance Energy Center is having events. Drinks took 25 minutes to get to us and we had to cancel our food order because it was taking so long.Food: 2/5
If you are in a hurry and have to be somewhere at a specific time, avoid this place. Made reservations for 5:30, got our food at 6:30 burger and salad, nothing fancy. All the tables around us were having to consider appetizers only or cancelling their order all together because of the lack of organization this place had. The food wasn’t worth the money or the wait. Our server was kind and it wasn’t her fault. They need better organization.
Great environment, definitely more upscale but not over the top. Food was very good. On the pricier side, but the food and service was in line with the prices. The coconut shrimp appetizer was really good, and the steak was also very good. Great service, and can't beat the views.
Went with coworkers for a happy hour. We ordered appetizers with our drinks. Good atmosphere, great wait staff and wonderful city viewsFood: 4/5
Great happy hour and view. The Korean bbq wings were really good.Food: 4/5
OK place for dinner. Loved the view and the atmosphere. The place seemed understaffed for being connected to an event venue. It took approximately 25 minutes for me to get a glass of wine and our waitress seemed like she was covering too many tables to take care of us. Once our food order was in, the meals were prepared and served in a good amount of time. I had a Cesar salad with chicken and my friend had the steak filet. The steak was good, but the veggies and potatoes were not that great and lacking any seasoning. My salad was ok, but the chicken seemed like it had been grilled days ago and was just cut up and served cold. Would maybe try again if I were in the area.
Great hotel restaurant/bar atop the doubletree hotel in downtown Cedar Rapids! Food was delicious and the staff was friendly! Excellent service!Food: 5/5
