2 Burley Men Moving Ltd.

If I could give negative stars I would. March 2022 2 Burley Men loaded my belongings on a truck and kept them for 2 weeks when they had promised max 5 days. When my things were finally delivered, I was not only charged $1000 more than the estimate, I discovered $12,000 of items were missing, and every antique I did get back was either damaged, broken, scratched or mouldy due to long term water exposure. Sentimental items including those belonging to my deceased son were collateral losses. I was robbed while my possession were in the care and control of 2 Burley Men. My items were exposed to water and mistreated. My only consolation was that I just sued 2 Burley Men & won! Do not hire this company if you value your possessions.

Overall the move went smoothly and the movers acted professionally. We had made the move easy for our movers by positioning everything very conveniently to speed up the load from a house. We were moving into a main floor condo and we gave them the easiest route which came from the outside, but I sensed there some "attitude" when we asked them not to put their ramp over a bush which could have damaged it. I was invited to offer a tip at the end, but in making this invitation I automatically felt obliged to do so and didn't appreciate this. I believe that people ought to be paid well for their service, with no reason for tips and if the company isn't paying these guys well then that speaks loads on the company. Apart from the attitude and the fact that they forgot their floor runners, requiring me to contact the company, the move was good. I would use them again.

Very good, reliable and professional experience with 2 Burley Men. This is the second time we moved with them and both times were great. Wished they made it a standard to wrap all furniture into moving blankets, as we ended up with a big scratch on our end table, but still overall experience was good! Great communication since booking until delivery, eager, friendly and fun guys doing the move. Shout out to Michael who ran our crew and came in on his day off. Super nice and competent young fellow, fun, chatty and professional, but bossy enough to run the crew at such a young age, kudos. We would book again! Thank you!

If i could rate this company 0 stars i would. First off communication with company when booking the move was horrendous and i had to hound them to get information once the move was booked as to what date the movers would be coming as they give you a 2 day window, but had to coordinate with our building. we were hounded by the movers to arrive at our destination early to be able to receive our things, even though we had arranged the date for drop off previously and had confirmed multiple times. Our stuff was transferred from the truck to storage then put on another truck to be delivered to us. During all the transfers of our stuff they lost 3 boxes a rug and couch legs we were unaware these were even removed in the first place. As well as our expensive TV being fully smashed. Communicating with both the movers, offices and claims department has been horrible. I have sent multiple emails and called with far and few between replies. Before the move i had asked about high ticket items such as TVS being packaged, and they said they could do that no problem. upon looking into getting money back because of the smashed TV we were told we had needed to purchase a box for the TV from them for it to be covered, why was i not told this in the first place PRIOR to the TV being smashed? Needless to say we are so unhappy with the service provided and will never use this company again, and will warn everyone we can against using this company as well. They clearly did not care about our possessions that we had trusted them with, and were incredibly difficult to deal with. We have also still not received our missing boxes/couch legs/rug and likely will never see them.
