Great Vietnamese restaurant! We tried the Papaya salad, grilled squid, soft-shell crab, the chef choice for the skewers and the fried banana dessert. Everything was delicious and not pricey. The decor and the service were great. I recommend this restaurant. I will be coming back to try more dishes.
We came here to eat twice and food has been consistently delicious. The skewers and appetizers are authentic. They have the soft shell crab which is not commonly found in other restaurants. The kids meal is very generous too and comes with juice. We got birthday dessert for free as a surprise. Nice asian decoration and bistro vibe. Wooden stool chairs are however not very comfy. On Sunday it's more quiet, reservation in advance recommended on Sat. Certainly one of the best asian restaurants in Laval.
This is a very small and cute Vietnamese resto. It's kinda like a tapas/full plate resto. This is a street food resto So you can get your own plate or share stuff. We got a few different things The mango salad, the chicken skewers, the mussels, the beef saute, the sticky chicken wings and to end it we got the fried banana for dessert My favorites were the mango salad it was so fresh and yummy, the chicken skewers were very flavorful which I loved and also the fried banana with coconut was devine. I would not recommend to get the mussels, they had a weird taste and odor, not sure if it was because of the toppings and the sauce but we felt bad asking to take it up. Other than that the place is nice for small and also big groups, the employees were all very nice and attentive and also the service was very fast. We got there when they had opened on a Sunday and more nd more ppl showed up and you can see that they were really consistent. Definitely recommend this place and also do a takeaway option.
First time at 123 Dzo and this place did not disappoint! We went there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and were able to reserve for around 20 people. One of my friends took the Bun thit nuong cha gio and was delighted by all the amazing flavours coming from this single dish. Meanwhile, I split the Goi du du kho bo, the Bot chien, the Cua lot sot me, the Bo luc lac, and the Ga & Heo skewers with another friend to be able to taste more dishes. The server was very helpful in his recommendations and suggested 5-6 tapas for 2 people. This place is definitely worth the detour for some sort of celebration as there was another table also celebrating a birthday at the same time as us. Amazing food, amazing experience, would definitely come back!
I live in the west Island, since my friend who lives in Laval asked me to join her at this place tonight. what a beautiful place, cool young modern vibe accentuated with Vietnamese culture. Really my type of place, good music and nice ambiance for those who likes good loud music the food was a-ma-zing. really impressed. everything my friend ordered was freagin delicious! I had a really good time, the staff super friendly no joke : thank you for the service to the bartender who made our drinks so well according what we wanted Im def going back soon!
Small location with very cute decor. The staff is really nice and there is a great vibe. I Had the following: - Soft shell crab and tamarind 7/10 you get 4 pieces per plate. It was good but it could be seasoned a bit more. - Chicken skewer 7/10 if eaten as is very light flavour but 8/10 if eaten with the grilled squid sauce. - Grilled mussels w shallot and peanuts 5/10 was over cooked and flavour was soso - Friend shrimp 8/10 what you expect it to taste like - Grilled squid 9/10 served with an AMAZING Sauce. - Crispy chicken skin 8/10 very crispy served with mayo sauce not great tastes better with the sauce from the grilled squid or nuoc cham. - Fried chicken wings nuoc Cham 5/10 was average - Mango salad 7/10 refreshing - Mussels in coconut 3/10 mussle tasted powdery. - Vietnamese affogato 6/10 - Ice cream 5/10 tasted frost bitten - Fried banana 8/10 very tasty
We'll come back! Every dish we tried was soooo good! Service was super friendly and accommodating. Also, if you're looking for a good pho, that's not the place to go, their specialty is vietnamese tapas / street food, and it's worth it! Try the beef ceviche and mango salad you'll thank me later lol. There are many other really good pho places out there, don't go there for pho, try their main tapas menu!!
I lived some years in the city of Nha Trang in Vietnam and as soon as I entered this restaurant, I felt the vibe of that city... Turns out the owner and his wife are from there and it shows! The decor is very nice, the food is delicious I tried the spring rolls and the Bò lúc lắc, the presentation impeccable, the service friendly and fast. Recommended to anyone who wants to try the closest to authentic Vietnamese food outside Vietnam...
Grear spot, food is great. Lots of seafood though so if you are not keen on that, less choices but the other plates are all delicious as well. Everyone loved every dish we ordered
The food presentation & taste are nice~ mango salad is my favorite~the decor is pretty cute~ but the service needs improvement ~the waiter forgot our beer >_<
