Gon Bui Restaurant Bar

We went there on Saturday and the place got quite busy. Staff were attentive and friendly. We are family of five so we were able to share some main dishes. I like the pancake with bubble and the pain with yam or sweet potato sauce. The dishes are colorful attractive and delicious, definitely a change from traditional brunch. English muffin with coco-curry sauce is also flavorful and good for vegetarian if replace shrimp by tofu. Cocktails and drink are wonderful. Very satisfied with food and service. I will come again.

Very nice experience at this restaurant! Wasn’t sure what to expect since I didn’t check photos, menu or reviews beforehand so I went into it blind. I was pleasantly surprised by how well crafted the drinks are. With such a large selection and variety in cocktails, you wouldn’t expect such quality and attention to detail, but the drinks we had were fantastic. Really cool take on some classic Asian inspired dishes. The carbonara was really interesting and well balanced and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The coconut & shrimp curry noodle dish was exceptional. Also recommend the bang bang chicken, nice crispy chick without being overly fried. The service was on point - friendly, smiling faces greet you and the server knew his menu well and was able to explain some fine details of the drink menu. Will be back!

Went here for the first time tonight for dinner with a friend. Very impressed! The menu is limited, but it works! The choices they have are all so good. A lot of attention to flavor and presentation goes into each dish and this makes it even more enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. The decor is neat as well. Will 100% be coming back!

Gon Bui was such an amazing culinary experience! We had the tasting menu for 4 people at 48$/person and added 4 extra dishes from the regular menu since we were a group of 6 people, per the kind staff’s suggestion. The various dishes were so flavourful and complimented each other perfectly and the cocktails were so original. We were able to sample most of the dishes on their regular menu and were all pleasantly surprised by the twist on each dish, as this was our first time here. Don’t forget to reserve in advance because this place was full, and good luck finding parking in the small lot! Can’t wait to go back and try their brunch menu!

What a lovely place. Great service. The bartenders are wizards, every drink was so delicious, rich and flavourful. The chefs in the kitchen also amazed us. Everything we ordered was unique and delicious. Fried chicken was great, loved the sauce they include. The calamari was excellent, loved the bits of onion and hot pepper. The shrimp dumplings were big and like no other I’ve ever had, they had a big ball of shrimp inside. The churros was delicious with a rich cream in the middle. Such a nice experience, the prices for cocktails are insane, all between 16-20$ +tax/tip for very small portions, but the drinks are strong and like no other you’ll ever taste. Thank you for such a lovely dinner, never enjoyed a restaurant so much.

Gon Bui is a fun place to dine out with friends or a date. The atmosphere is both cozy and romantic. I’ve been there in two occasions and truly enjoyed the food. The papaya salad is a must as well as the tofu desert. The salmon is a good choice, as well as the noodles. The only dish that they need to improve is the dumplings. They were dry and not good at all. However, I highly recommend this restaurant.

From the ambiance, the decor, the customer service to the food and drinks, you HAVE to try Gon Bui. Unique in its take on Asian fusion food and cocktails, you’ll want a taste of everything. The staff is so warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and they’re generally so friendly. I went there for the first time to try their brunch and felt like a regular already! I also absolutely appreciate the fact that many of their cocktails can be made without alcohol, making the pretty drinks even more accessible to all! Loved Gon Bui and I already have plans to go back this Saturday. Do yourself a favour and try this restaurant!

Had the most amazing and enjoyable experience for brunch and dinner with friends and family for my birthday! Big shoutout to Jules, Clark and Tram for the best service ever! Thank you for everything! I really recommend going to this place! The decoration is just incredible and gorgeous! You won't regret it I promise!

Gon Bui is a nice gem in Laval. The decor is really instagramable. The food was delicious. The staff is very nice and flexible we had an emergency and they packed our food to go right away. Reservations need to be done in advance, but we got quite lucky and got a place at the last minute. It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Their cocktails are delicious. Vegetarian options: They can definitely accommodate if you ask! Parking: There are a lot of restaurants on this mall strip so parking gets complicated during dinner times. Wheelchair accessibility: It is on a first floor no stairs and there are ramps everywhere.

It was an Experience!!!! Aesthetically, the location is stunning the Lai see tree at the entrance, the bar, even the Bathroom was gorgeous although it was a bit too dark in there... But Gorgeoussss!! Service was good, they were nice. The food was good, well seasoned, generous portions for a tapas concept! We took 5 plates and it was almost too much food did not have space in my belly to try the desserts. The cocktails Beautiful!!!!
