So we weren’t planning on coming here .. we decided to go to elixor right beside Sharx but it was suppose to be a 20 minute wait ended up with a 1:30 hour wait…. We haven’t gotten our seats yet and we were outside just waiting until the waiter from Sharx came out to invite us over to their restaurant. He was so kind even brought us out his menu and I was super impressed with the level of class and service. We decided to give sharx a try after checking out their menu. It looked super fancy and loved what they had to offer. As we walked in it was super elegant, very beautiful decor beautiful restaurant. We loved that there was no one there as we reserved the entire place to ourselves. The service was super quick super efficient. Exactly what we wanted.. When I think of sharks .. I think of the old bar on l’acadie with pool tables / dance club… I never believed this place actually was this high end and elegant inside.. maybe they should change their name it would be way better! Food: 5++++ super fresh it reminds me a little of Restaurant Damas.. lots of middle eastern dishes we had the mezze 6 it was a beautiful tapas menu with tzatziki babaganoush, hummus, moussaka, pita and delicious marinated veggies We had the charcuterie board .. delicious fresh cheeses mozzarella, brie, sharp cheddar and meats were prosciutto, salami, capicola, caramelized smoked bacon, just absolutely delicious fresh and out of this world. For our mains.. I sticked with the Cesar .. very fresh salad , my hubby had The marriage grillé was really delicious Overall food, ambiance and service was 5+++++++ totally unexpected and never knew how delicious their food was ! Service was exceptional definitely recommend!!!
Went there for a chrismas party and we waited 2h30 before we could eat. They didn't even think about telling us to go bowl while we waited. By the time we were done eating half of the party was tired and didn't want to play bowling anymore. Food was great and the bowling part was fun but they had many management issues. They need to work on their service.
Amazing experience! Easy access and located in Centropolis Laval. Lots of parking too. Had the salmon with fries, salad and lemon herb sauce and it arrived fresh and hot straight off the in-house charcoal grill. Atmosphere is also amazing. Big screens, good music, blacklight bowling and good vibes. Our group ate and then enjoyed the free bowling Wednesday. Turns out when you eat here and spend 25$ you can bowl for free! We are definitely coming back!!
This was not my first time coming to Sharx, but it honestly might be the last. It is come first, first serve - which is a pretty simple way of working, but the girl at the front made our night so complicated. It was a Saturday night, we had called prior to ask for the wait time and the girl simply said "Well it's busy". Once, we got there, she did not say a single word to us, not even a "hello" and hand us a piece of paper for our information for the waitlist and then says "we'll call you in about an hour". Two and a half hours go by and no call - my friend decided to call for an update, the girl asked us when we could be here, we we're having drinks at Houston next door and said "10-15 minutes" she hangs up on our face! We decided to go back and check if any bowling alleys are now available, she sees us come in and walks away for 10 minutes, comes back & asks us to point to our name on the list. Every single names we're crossed out and had been served, even people who came after us. I also mentioned to her, we called 10 minutes ago and she told me to show her my phone with my recents call for "proof". I never had to show my recent calls to any restaurants or bar just to prove I called prior, that was so unprofessional and unnecessary. She said she could only take 6 of us we we're 10 to play and walks away, she kept giving us a disgusting attitude, not looking in our faces and just walking away when we we're simply trying to get a place. You may ask why we simply didn't leave yet, but it was our friends birthday and the last time we came here, we actually had service. We ended up going to see one of the busboy's, his name was Yohan and he was colombian, he got us our bowling alleys and our drinks, in under 10 minutes. Thank God for Yohan and his service, he kept apologizing for her attitude towards us & we ended up having an okay time, but why did she make us wait over 3 hours? Because she did not feel like working last night? Because she felt like being petty? Her service and her way of being was completely unacceptable, rude and pathetic, you do not go work in customer service if you do not like people and simply can't have manners with clients. Not to mention, she had a 4 year old, behind the desk, hiding the whole time while this place is a bar and 18 +.
Had my wife’s 30th last weekend. First time planning something and they made it very easy to enjoy. First of all the place is class. The cuisine was excellent and our waiter along with the team took care of everything and went beyond to make it a great experience. To top it off there was bowling for everyone to enjoy. Classic bowling balls and clean lanes. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good night or to host a gathering to check this place out.
Yes we liked it, and recommend it A place where you can eat and play bowling at the same time. Interesting place with gaming atmosphere. Nice average food. We took the 3 mini burgers too small a portion, but good and a chicken skewer. We had a great evening where I was able to beat my friend at bowling : , it's a spot where I would like to go back with many friends to enjoy the place and the atmosphere,
Very big place but little customers. Bartender was really nice, but only spoke to you in English. I thought there were pool tables there but that's not the case.Service: 5/5
I found the food very over priced for the quantity Also after spending 130$ on just two meals figured at least bowling would be free. Bowling was another 166$ for 7 people for one game. Kid-friendliness: Bowling can be.played by any. Dietary restrictions: Must inform of allergies before ordering.
It's a great bowling place to go with a few friends. It's nice that you can eat there before, during or afterwards. Howvever, the food could be better. The service is good though.
