Horrible place that cannot control its crowd. The only club on the street that actually disrupts the hundreds of people that call the neighbourhood home. Crowd blasts music from their vehicles, shouts all night. When there's a decade's old bar across the street featuring live shows that never disrupts the neighbourhood, you know this place could do better - they just don't care. Photo is at 2:45am, note the vehicles stopped in the driving lane. What you can't hear: the crowd shouting, the vehicles bass so loud it's vibrating across the street, excessive honking both by them and people trying to drive around them.
Buddys had a booth here. I showed up a bit late so they made me pay entry. My buddy who got the booth even came to the front and told them and they still didn’t agree to let me in even for 5 mins to greet him. Big lady at the front said that “booths aren’t associated with entry fee” even though all of my friends got in for free. Even other clubs don’t charge if you have a booth. Will never come here.
I've been here 3 times while visiting Edmonton over the last few months. I have always had a great time, good music, good vibe. Doesn't get super packed which I like, you can always find somewhere to sit or hang out without feeling squashed. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Edmonton!
Great venue safe and the music is amazing nice local spot
Came here for an event, there was a line up at the door, but the manager was just letting in people be clearly saw were not in line . I simply asked where the line was because people were being told different things , not only did he get defensive and disrespectful. But he told me "you can just go home". For simply asking a question. Never coming back again.
I've been here twice and actually enjoyed it both times. The first time was mid pandemic or before things shut down again and I had a good time but there was no AC so it was really hot. The second time was this past weekend and it was great!! We got a table, a bottle, the AC was hitting the spot as was the music. Definitely will be coming back here anytime I'm back in Edmonton.
I was invited here for a date, and I asked the server for Sprite for our shooters, and she gave me a smug look and brought me water instead because she noticed I wasn't the one paying. Hello, this is a date and it's none of your business who is paying! Weird way to treat your customers. Sprite is like $5? So why treat me like I'm asking for too much, it's not like I ordered myself a whole premium drink on his bill. We were literally sitting beside each other too, so I wasn't just walking around getting people to buy me drinks.
A mediocre spot at best, could definitely improve more on the atmosphere and food. They do have a kitchen open downstairs, but they take forever and quality is okay. Not a bad spot to go and drink, but that's pretty much it.
Loud, noisy and very obnoxious clientele, this bar keeps the neighborhood up at night when they feel like blaring their music, Cops come weekly to this place as it always draws a very bad group to it.
It is definitely a good place to go to. The club is pretty small. The washrooms are not kept clean all the time and they have only 1 toilet when they should be having a lot more. The security of slightly nudgy and doesn't bear drunk people. 2 of my friends were chucked out. The alcohol is slightly cheaper than the Ranch but then again the 2 placed can't be compared.
