Just right besides T&T in metrotown. Large boba tastes good! Taro green milk tea is good to try! It has fresh taro insides.Recommended dishesPearl
A bit disappointed in both our drinks. They were very watery. Pearls were very good, friendly staff, and we love the 30% off opening discount. Probably won’t go back again for regular price
I actually remember when Dessert Dynasty first opened way back in 2007. I was just a kid. It was nice and was the pioneer that brought the beloved bubble waffles we love to Burnaby Metrotown area. My mom told me Wushiland is a famous Taiwanese franchise and they were familiar with the brand way back in Taiwan. So we gave it a try. But I was dismayed before I even had my first sip. The server Mico called us, and was just glaring at us. My sister and I were deciding what to drink, and when she asked Mico what was popular, she snapped that it was on the posters. Her attitude was so sour that it made me just want to exit without purchasing. Of course I couldn't do that. So we ordered 4 seasons tea with assorted toppings. It looked nice on the poster just under $6. But when it came out it basically looked like a red tea with toppings. I was shocked. I literally walked by T&T with the same drink but only for $2.45! I understand that quality is different, so I took a sip. Nothing "magnificent" about it. And it was one of their special drinks. I understand Mico must have been super tired working the whole day, I know. I was a barista before but still, that's no excuse to treat your customers like that. My sister and I were even smiling and doing everything we could to not be burdensome. Too bad. I told my sister good thing we came today, cause now I know not to come here. I was really hoping to experience what my parents did in Taiwan.
I saw their juice is squeezed from fresh fruits, not from a concentrate tank. I think that is the reason why I love their fruit teas so much. Highly recommend, especially the orange grapefruit green tea and strawberry black tea macchiato.
Ordered orange juice, asked if it’s fresh orange juice, she said yes and saw the person took out a pitcher of orange juice that looks like ones you can buy from superstore and poured half cup of water in it. It tastes more like water than orange juice… and it was 7 something. I can buy fresh pressed orange juice from booster juice or jugo juice with that money. Who makes orange juice with store orange juice and half cup of water and sell for 7 bucks.. don’t recommend, will never go.
My daughter and I had been wandering around Metrotown for awhile. We were getting really thirsty but it was also close to dinner time, so I didn't want us spoiling our appetites for dinner. Seemed like a good time to share, sowe went to 101 Boba and I bought us a Four Seasons tea with Mango Sorbetto in it. I'd been wanting to try this place for awhile since I first heard of it opening earlier this year. I was a bit confused because I distinctly remembered the article calling it Wushiland Boba, and yet the store has 101 Boba written on it. The cup that our drink came in though had Wushiland Boba written on it. It's taken me a few months to get to this store. I never got to see it when it first opened, so I never got to see if the sign outside their store ever actually read Wushiland Boba or if it's always been 101 Boba. So...I'm wondering if the store has gone through a name change... Is it that they're transitioning over to the name 101 Boba and just havn't gotten around to changing the name on their cups yet? Or has the sign outside always read 101 Boba? If it's the latter, then I really don't understand why news articles were calling them Wushiland Boba when they first opened. Four Seasons Tea with Mango Sorbetto: We weren't entirely sure if we were supposed to shake up the Mango Sorbetto before drinking. I think we did a combination of drinking without shaking, and then stirring it up a bit before taking a few more sips again. It was a yummy drink every which way we tried it! I think though that shaking it up first and then drinking it is probably the easiest way to go about it. Then you don't have to worry about having a spoon or any other kind of utensil to scoop up the ice cream and eat it. Shaking and drinking through the straw is much easier! Service: Good Parking: At Metrotown so it's plentiful and free! Location: Beside the T&T supermarket in Metrotown
Giving a 1 because the guy who took my order and made my drink had crazy levels of dandruff all over his uniform and big chunks still in his long hair. Absolutely disgusted, never seen somebody working like this in my 24 years. I paid $7 to have dandruff in my drink, wont be going back if I ever see him around. Tell him to take more showers or leave.
Not worth the wait. Was there yesterday afternoon. There were 3 staff: one cashier in dark green hoodie, and two other baristas in black. The line up was not long, May be 6 drinks in the queue before my order of a single drink, and I waited over half and hour for it. This is what I observed over that 30mins: the two baristas hated their job, and didn’t want to be there. I have never seen anyone moving that slow in my life, and their work process don’t make any sense to me. They seem very disorganized and didn’t know what they were doing. The male barista would causally stroll from the egg waffle end of the store left end to the fridge end of the storeright end to grab something for the waffle/ drink and causally stroll back. He had done that multiple times for every order without truly accomplishing anything. After 30mins in of observing the chaos as more people are waiting, the line up also died down. Since there were no new orders, I think the cashier got fed up with how slow the two baristas are and rolled up her sleeves to help out, the cashier was the superstar and was moving swiftly around 4x quicker than the other two. I saw her grab the sticker for my order and within one minute she made the drink, while the other two were still struggling to do whatever meaningless they were doing. Brownie points to the cashier in dark green, definitely deserves a raise. Yet I am never going back to this location, not worth the wait.
I’ve been here 3x now and have tried the passion fruit green tea, black tea latte with grass jelly, and black tea latte with boba. The passion fruit tea was very fresh tasting and was loaded with pulpy passion fruit seeds. Both black teas were excellent at 30% sugar and the reason why they are not creamy is because they use real tea and not the bubble tea powder mix which has a lot of additives. I plan on visiting each time we go to T & T. Yum. Accepts credit cards. Also, go to bubble world if you’re looking for powdered bbt. Update: been here numerous times after and each time has been very bland with too many pearls…like half cup of pearls.
Go for a try cuz they have 30% off, but still $6 for a medium size with coconut jelly fruit tea. And found out regular price is almost $10!!!!! Thats way overpriced for this sweet juice without tasting any tea. And also they run out almost every kind of drinks and pearl.............make us almost want to walk away.
