Nice camp ground, good riding.
I loved it there! Beautiful trails, beautiful scenery, easy to get to. Will definitely be going many more times.
Awesome loved camping and riding !
Great place loved the trails. Power would be nice would pay more to camp. Not much for air movement in camp ground so gets hot at night due to generator has to be off at 10 pm.
Great camping, great trails. Only downfall no electricity but who cares for the price and experience!
We had a wonderful weekend camping with MNDRA.
Scenic trails I recommend shoes for your horses some trails are rocky and could be a challenge for the novice rider. Give this area a try great for a long relaxing weekend. No cell service unless you ride up to the overlook.
It was very quiet down there because it was the middle of the week. Lawns were well kept, just a perfect place to have a little saddle club meeting.
Go during a dry spell. After a decent rain not only do the trails wash out the roads to get to camp are treacherous. Central and North camps will close periodically due to the access road being impassable. Be sure to call. West camp is okay if you like being out in the blazing sun. Only a few sites have the luxury of having shade for the horses. Middle sites are nearly unbearable after the temp hits 80. The horse trails are haphazardly marked-take a gps...If you want cell service you need to go to town or ride to the "phone booth". This is the only place on the trail overlooking campthat you can get full bars. All and all not the best place I've ever ridden for $16 a night primative.
Great equestrian camping no electric hookups and pit toilet. Beautiful woods and river bottoms to ride.
