I live right beside here. An honestly their food is ummy'z. It's literally always fresh..and if u have kids. This place would be better to try cuz they got everything a kid loves.js‍ Staff have been always nice. I go there at least 3 times a week.

I used to stop here every Thursday after work just to grab a quick snack but after I got 2 chili dogs that made me violently sick I’ve never been back since.
One word, RUDE! Have you ever went out for an ice cream with your wife only to be told after you order inside that you have to leave to eat your treat because the dining room is closing at 9:00 pm?! It was so unbelievably rude....complete fail by staff, mgt, and owner. Note hours are displayed rather ambiguously. Guess what? Dairy Queen lobby was still open on our way home!
A bit of an outdated interior. Ice cream and cheese curds were a treat. The lady taking the order at the counter was rude, seemed annoyed that we wanted to look at the menu and didn't just automatically know what we wanted. There was no one in line but us so i didnt think it would be such an issue. Was brief with us and just no real costumer service. The man who brought our food to the table however was super friendly. Edit: it was the same lady with glasses and colored hair that other reviews have complained about so ig it wasnt just a bad day but a pattern of behavior
How do you review a place that is an essential part of your childhood? Zesto hasn't been in this location my entire life, but I love it just the same. I love their changing sherbet flavors, and this is the only ice cream shop around where you can get a frozen chocolate-covered banana!
Great service! My youngest had a bike accident today and can only eat soft and cold food for a little bit so got her an avalanche just for her! Very thankful that we could get some awesome food here.
I just got done eating here. As I was eating my burger and fries and sipping on my chocolate shake I was watching the girl at the register less than pleasant make shakes and cones etc. When she would get done making a shake she would take a white rag and wipe down the cup, the counter and the shake machine with that same white rag! Also I witnessed her eat out of the selections of toppings to choose from! All of this while your number cards you get they were putting into a tub to clean before each customer! The cross contamination at this place needs to be looked at and re educated! Lady had a long ponytail, colored hair and glasses she was rude.
Delicious food and a vast variety of ice cream treats. I had the Avalanche in Coffee Fudge Heath, and it was so nummy. Going here is a special treat when I come to Brookings South Dakota. It is my favorite ice cream place!
