We chose Zeiglers to provide the flowers for our wedding in September. I had visited with several other florists, and while they were all much cheaper, we chose Zeiglers because we were promised so much and it was a familiar name that I thought we could trust.
We had a large bridal party (9 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen) plus my bouquet, my husbands bout, and all the flowers for grandparents, parents, and two pastors. Because of this, we chose to only do flowers for people (no decor or centerpieces besides the flowers for our cake). In the spirit of transparency I can say that our total was over $1300 just for bouquets and corsages. But again, we thought this was a name we could trust so at the time we didn't mind the money. I had a very specific vision for our flowers, and I met with Jeffrey several times to ensure I got what I wanted. I left him with pictures and notes, and he assured me I would have what I wanted. He promised several times that if for some reason they could not get specific flowers that I asked for they would call me weeks in advance to let me know.
Fast forward to our wedding day. The flowers were delivered and I immediately noticed that they were completely wrong. Not a single flower I asked for was present. I specifically asked for no roses. My bouquet was made up of mostly roses, and all the men's bouts were roses. They were also supposed to bring little pre-made bunches of flowers for our cake, instead they brought a few long stemmed roses. Again, this was something we had discussed in great detail. I'm not sure how they thought we could put long stemmed roses into our cake. I was also told that who ever delivered the flowers would place them in the cake for us. When I asked him to please try to put the flowers in the cake he said that wasn't his responsibility and he did not know where the cake was.
When I asked why all the flowers were wrong he called Jeffrey. He then explained that there was a shortage of what I asked for. I was promised so many times I'd be told ahead of time if they couldn't get the specific things I requested. No one bothered to tell me, so I spent half an hour of the morning of my wedding arguing over flowers.
After our honeymoon we went in to the shop to try and sort things out. They basically said they were sorry but we still got flowers "of equal value." They gave us a refund of $150, which is a drop in the bucket compared to what we paid, especially considering I got what I said I DIDNT want. They seemed more concerned with if we were going to tell people what happened. They were upset when they found out that all my bridesmaids knew about their mistakes.
While no one else knew the flowers were wrong, I certainly did. When you compare the pictures I gave them to the pictures of what we received you can see they aren't even close. It was disappointing to say the least when we paid top dollar for a name we thought would deliver.

They went out of their way to deliver two orders for us!! Great customer service!!
