I wish I caught her name, but the woman working the self checkout area at 3:45pm on May 29th was so kind and deserves to be recognized!nnI don’t live in town, but I always save my grocery shopping if I know I’m going to be visiting Stratford because this is my favourite grocery store location. The consistent kindness from employees, cleanliness and how well stocked it always is makes for such a lovely shopping experience.nnBut an extra special shoutout to the woman working today who made my day!

Not sure what her name was because I was in a little bit of a rush but I love the maybe 30s looking lady with the blonde hair who works at the self checkout! She's always so nice and I see her every time we go. I work at a superstore and zehrs is one of the only places I get my discount for it, she's always so patient when I inevitably forget to get my ID out before scanning

This place has very expensive pricing and their produce is very old and not worth even buying. What may look good on the outside like a melon or a pineapple is rotten on the inside. Pure greed to charge $8.00 for these fruits when they are not even quality inspected. Also why do you close at 9pm? Some people like the convenience of shopping after 9pm because they work until 9pm! Closing at 10pm makes logical sense...wake up its 2026!

I asked customer service a question and it was a very simple one on a product as I live 40 minutes away and I didn’t wanna have to come there when I was told it was there again so I was curious if they could check and buddies like oh I can give you the man like I don’t need to speak to the man. I’m just curious if you could check something and he gets very rude and hangs up so terrible customer service and people act like that should not be working at a desk job and should be fired. I will be recording every call from here on out because if you guys do that again, I will be Filing an official report

Shopping at Zehrs Stratford has officially become a strength and endurance sport.nEvery cart squeals like it’s begging for retirement, pulls hard to one side, or feels like the brakes are permanently half on—great if you’re training for a workout, not so great if you just need groceries. And the wheels? Half of them look like they’ve been through a demolition derby… and lost.nHonestly, I’ve seen homeless people around town pushing smoother, quieter carts than the ones in the store, which is impressive in its own way.
