Shoppers Drug Mart

I went to pick up my prescription because I was told it the store was open. The security guard told me to go around the back of the building to pick up. Walking around there was 3 light standards to light the path but they were not on. The path was dark and the alcove at the door was even darker I could barely see the woman and man standing ther. The woman looked uncomfortable standing there in the dark surrounded by men with no escape. . If it's about money which would be more cost affective a little fuel for the lights or a lawsuit from someone who has been attacked or robbed in the dark, on your property.

I usually never go to this shoppers. The Ontario St one is better. No one around to help me or the other person that was there having an issue. Didn't even see a single cashier during the 10 minutes I was there. Shop lifting is becoming more and more of an issue and this store just doesn't have anyone out front?

The Shoppers itself is great, never had an issue.nnThe pharmacy on the other hand is literally the most difficult pharmacy I have had to deal with. I order in my prescriptions with more than enough time to prepare them yet whenever I go to pick them up they are never ready. I was also informed today that I did not pick up a medication in December... It is almost April... Why have I not heard of this before? I also need my medication every day, I assure you if I ordered medication I picked it up.nnI switched over to this pharmacy because it is closer for me to travel to but it is not worth the headache. Go literally anywhere else.

I have been with this store for years and am looking for a new pharmacy. Not only are the rude, slow, they lie I have been told I'm the only customer on one of my med and they only order when I need it. It's been a auto refill for 8 years so should not be a problem. But I do know I'm not the only person who takes this med same staff member tells me the next month that they didn't have any because it's a popular med and they run out. I ended up having to go 3 time in one month to puck up as they never had enough. The next month they don't even have the med. No one calls to notify me and the kicker. By law they are to report to the prescribing Dr if they are out so an alternative medication could be used. They never did and from end of December till mid January I didn't get the medication needed. And as of now gave my wife her life saving meds but only 32 out of the 300 she gets every 3 months as they are out.nnTry paying your supplier. And your stock my not run out for weeks. Stop telling people it manufacturing shortage . It's easy enough to call them and find out.

When this location opened, the pharmacy was great. Now, it is absolutely horrible. Constant errors, terribly slow service long periods to refill a prescription, and so rude. The issues are major.nnWe are pulling my family's file and switching to another pharmacy. I would give them zero stars if it were an option.
