Terrible manager! Here is the story I came to return my clothes and the lady in cashier started to examine the clothes and then to smell it all over, imagine! and she judged that I worn it outside because there was strong perfume smell and it won’t be strong like that unless i worn it!!! I really shocked from her thinking and conclusion and disgusting attitude She called the manager, and he just had a quick look and talked to the cashier person to not return it and went! I asked her to call him back because I wanted to discuss with him why? He came and yelled at me to get out or he would call the security. I freeze and got speechless from his rude behavior! I asked him politely can I speak to you! He said no get out now I’ve never ever been treated like that in whole my life. It’s unfair for being in a situation like that treated badly and you couldn’t do anything! I called Zara service for his rudeness and they will do something for sure for this inhumane behavior And for that lady, I won’t forgive you ever for what you accused me and judged me even without give my a chance to say something.

I just went in to return a dress that I got for my engagement photos. When I bought it the one I brought to the cash didn’t have a tag so the worker went and got another one. She put the wrong size in the bag. I went it to return it, tags on in the bag and with the receipt. As soon as I pull it out the cashier immediately says to her coworker not even to me “this girl cut this” I said pardon me and she goes you cut this dress I’ve seen this before and this isn’t how it comes. I did not and would not cut something and then try to return it. I explained the issue to her and that I was returning it due to the wrong size. She was adamant that I cut the dress and said to her coworker she’s calling the manager. Again not to me. The managers come over and she goes this girl cut the dress the male manager and someone else who came over just stood there didn’t say a word to me but just let the employee falsely accuse me of damaging their product. She held the dress up and said here you cut this we aren’t refunding you so I took it out of her hands and left. I have filed a complaint against this employee and store. The cashier is extremely disrespectful and horrible customer service. I’m positive she wouldn’t be too pleased with someone falsely accusing her of something. The photos of the dress online are not even as the dress is a slip dress with a piece of tool. People who do not have manners should not be working in customer service. Disgusting behaviour from Zara Rideau employees.

Decent selection but the customer service is non existent. Never anybody to help except at the registerbarely and this is the third time I’ve been here where the staff is gathered in the fitting room station talking badly about coworkers etc and pretending like the customers aren’t there. They aren’t accessible to help and also just unprofessional. Also cashing our time is longer time than any other retail store I’ve been to even if you have two items. No sense of urgency.

i tried returning a perfume i had just bought less than 5 minutes after the purchase last night at around 5pm. the same girl who had cashed me out, said i could not return my defected perfume and how i “should’ve asked to see the tester”, while all the other ones were normal? how am i supposed to know there is a problem with my never used perfume if i do not open the packaging? i approached her politely and got nothing but the opposite back. not to mention, it is also difficult to find nice clothing there and usually, it is low quality. not to mention, i still had my bag, receipts and packaging.

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE PRICE TAGS...Some things are priced in EUROS.. bought a shirt that said 29.95 on it. When I went to check out, they said it was 60 something $.. I didn't realize it was in euros.. I bought it anyways, because it was a nice shirt that would be good for work, but still annoying to have some items marked in euros.

I have lived in Ottawa for a year and anytime I have gone to Zara, it has been hands down the WORST customer service I have EVER EXPERIENCED EVER. Staff are rude, don’t care to help, and slower than a sail. I waited in line for 36 mins to check out with one pair of pants. DO BETTER

Mean cahier lady Went to return an online order, which I didn’t knew was passed the return period, which was my fault. But the cashier lady with bangs just stared at me after telling me the system doesn’t allow the return and gave me a fake smile literally stared at me with her fake smile Felt very uncomfortable. Haven’t been back to this Zara, but I feel like the employees have changed a lot and reading other reviews it seems like I’m not the only one that felt this way

Love the variety of clothing and pricing .Awesome customer service! Young lady with the bangs at checkout is amazing. Will definitely shop there when in the area.

The store is nice and usually has a nice collection. However, their clothing doesn’t last very long. It’s usually ending up in the gifting pile or in the trash because it can’t be worn anymore

This is one of my favorite shops. This location is well kept and clean. There are different sections for men, women and children so it caters to all. There is a wide selection of unique clothing for any occasion in different price ranges. The staff are very nice and they leave you alone to shop and don't hover over you while you're browsing. This is great for those who take public transport as it's right near the transitway. I highly recommend this shop!
