The milkshakes here are amazing! I highly recommended the strawberry milkshake I recommend this place for breakfast or if you’re craving breakfast for dinner like I was! The potatoes were well seasoned, the eggs were cooked nicely though my egg popped but they offered to make me another one and overall a good classic breakfast. The boneless chicken wings on the other hand tasted off and we’re not as enjoyable
Always a treat to eat here. We had a great dinner. The staff were all super friendly and we love their plant based menu choices. I had the Crispy Chicken wrap, my daughter had the nachos and my grandson had the kid sized Mac and cheese. I’m certain we’ll be back soon
Best food. Huge portions. Great staff. Very nostalgic feeling. It's like a place my parents might have gone to when they were teenagers. Breakfast all day. Curly fries are delicious. Homespun milkshakes they are not out of a machine like most places.Food: 5/5
A very good place to have a breakfast or brunch. All their breakfast options are delicious, particularly omelettes and egg bennies. My kids love their pancakes. Service is fast and waiters are friendly. The coffee they serve is a bit weak to my taste. We went there March 23rd, after 9 p.m. It was my first time, and I just loved the food and the ambiance. The staff was so nice and helpful. She gave us an extra Mint Chocolate shake. Thank you! The place was clean. Will be coming back again soon.
Had a wonderful experience at this location. Staff was great and the portions are insane, amazi g value for the price. The waiter even offered to cut up a gummy worm for my son's ice cream, above and beyond. One of my favourite Zak's. Update 07/06: Had breakfast, equally awesome. Classic cold brew is wonderful and the Zaks omelet is packed with veggies. Delicious food and amazing service as usual.
What an Amazing Breakfast joint. Although this place was Jumping, the Wait was only about 10 minutes, for a Table of 6. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito, and it was Epic& Huge. Prices are a bit higher, but you Will NOT be Hungry afterwards. You get what you pay for. Can't wait to return again soon. Thanks
Decided to have an early dinner here, ordered a chocolate milkshake and the mac and cheese burger and fries. The milkshake was good , but was it worth $7.99 + tax, maybe not and a little over priced . The Mac and cheese burger was really good. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the un ripe tomatoes they served. If you can not buy tomatoes that are ripe and red, then you shouldn't be serving them. To me they are just garbage and not good to eat. Especially on a burger your charging $18.49 for. I also didn't enjoy the fries they served and I found them on the cheap side. Would I go here again, most likely not, you defiantly don't get good value for the money you pay. The atmosphere is nice, as well as the staff, the food over priced
I ordered breakfast at Zak’s Kanata today and the takeout container’s paper dye was all over my eggs see pictures. I went back and told them about it and the person said they have never seen this before and offered me a gift card. I have been to Zak’s before and I like their food but I advice folks getting takeouts to be extra careful and not eat toxic food. I advice the owner to take corrective action on this issue.
Zak's diner was exactly what I had expected in a diner. Quick breakfast, and hot coffee... And went you're woken up before dawn by your kids, that's what you want! Service was excellent. Server came by often to top up coffee and check on us. Food was good. We got the kids chocolate chip pancakes, which came with 4 pancakes. An order of home fries. And a traditional egg breakfast. We'd come back
