What a satisfying experience. The fish tacos are absolutely delicious. The breakfast special is SO inexpensive, fresh, excellent quality! The fish and chips special of the day was satisfying in taste, freshness and price. Excellent and fast service, even though our waitress was working the entire restaurant alone. A lot of windows for natural light, and high ceiling for excellent air quality. Restrooms very clean. We will definitely return again and again and again. Wonderful for families, dates, friends. AMAZING value while not compromising of flavour and freshness. #localguide
DO NOT try to send food back here. They'll charge you for it even if there's a hair in it. I tried to dispute the charge and the manager went full Karen on me and spit at me. Luckily she missed, but you definitely can't get worse service than you do here. They should put knuckle sandwich on the menu if they're cool with assaulting people. I called the police and in the end they were on my side so screw this restaurant. Not sure where the 4 stars came from. I'm guessing family? The hollandaise sauce tasted like a mix between mayonnaise and play dough, they don't wear hair nets which is obviously a problem since I found a hair in my food, and they don't even check up on you after they serve you. I had to call the waitress over after half an hour just for service.
It’s a nice new spot in kanata for sea food.. we got fish and chips and got the Halibut with different sides, fries , Greek salad and house salad.. we were impressed by the fish quality.. crispy not oily , flaky and the portion is quiet filling! I opted to the lunch portion. We also tried their garlic cheese bread quiet simple! Service was ok, she mixed up the order but we didn’t bring it to her attention my family just wanted to eat! Hehehehe
I enjoyed eating at this place last Sunday. It wasn’t very crowded and lots of parking space for free. The food was delicious. I had halibut fish and chips, and the plate was big. Too bad I missed the discount period LOL. Serves were nice and my family and I had good time there. Kids get juice for free, if you buy kid’s meal. I recommend this location.
Pretty good fish - got the halibut - very nice and crispy. Nice large piece with a side of fries and coleslaw - i was full. I'd skip the fries next time since they aren't too special but just for the fish alone it was greatFood: 5/5
Love the daily special breakfast deal for $4.95!! Contains 1 egg, 2 meats sausage/ham/bacon, potatoes, and toast. Note tea/coffee not included. Honestly the portions are amazing for the price! Even the 2 egg, 4 meat, potatoe and toast meal is $8.95Food: 5/5
Halibut house is good eats for cheap. Lots of blue collar workers getting a solid meal. Huge portions. I ordered the fish and chips halibut of course. A whole fillet that was gently battered sitting on a piles of tasty fries comes with a side of coleslaw. Service was very good. Excellent value give them a tryFood: 5/5
I was looking for a light dinner and had two appetizers, the chowder and the fish tacos. The chowder was kind of uninspiring but competent. No crackers offered. The fish tacos were of the deep-fried kind and quite nice but a bit drippy. Very mild pepper flavours in the slaw. Parking: Shared parking in a plaza
A craving for fish and chips led us to this dinner. It was just what we were looking for. A sparkling clean place with booths. Great attentive and very quick service. I liked the very lightly battered haddock. Not overdone on the batter. The fries were hot and crispy. We will be back.Food: 5/5
Loved the grilled halibut and fries. Other people had the haddock and chips and haddock and onion rings. Portions were large and lightly battered. Staff were friendly and service was good. Food came out in reasonable time considering how busy they were. I will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
