Yukon Motel & Restaurant

We stopped here to eat on our way from Alaska and decided to check out the gift shop first. It was full of terrific gifts and and AMAZING exhibit of Alaskan and Yukon wildlife. We bought some local goods then headed to the restaurant, where we had a great meal and prompt efficient service by a very pleasant young lady.

We showed up at 2am after driving nearly 13 hours. This little motel was extremely clean and warm. The beds were a bit hard, but when you are that far into no mans land they were great! Because we showed up so late the friendly gentlemen said we could check out past the normal time no problem. Best part was walking right next door from our room for a good hot breakfast. Their house made muffins were wonderful and the staff was very friendly. I would stay again in a heart beat! Plus they're pet friendly which seems to be hard to find.

Food was ok. The second time the food was better. The motel was very clean.

Quaint little place that very successfully turned an older Lodge into a more modern sleeping facility. It was very quiet, and warm. Overall good experience. The only two markdowns that I would have to give it are the lack of blackout curtains, and for anyone coming through and the summer just know that they do not have AC. Luckily I planned ahead and brought blackout curtains, so it was bearable. But during the summer months with only an hour or so of Darkness the current setup is not quite adequate. The Bison burger was excellent! And the beach access is also very nice.

Wonderful service. Beautiful 3 queen cabin on the lake. It was gorgeous!!!! I plan to go back for sure. It was roomy and a great price.
