I cannot say enough about how wonderful our visit was. The staff were kind, friendly, immensely knowledgeable, and accommodating. The views, food, and activities were amazing. If you are visiting Whitehorse for aurora-watching, definitely consider staying here instead of in the city. I found the packages are economical when you add up all expenses (transport, lodging, food). I would stay at least 4 nights or more to maximize the probability that you get to see the Aurora. The only downside is that if the Aurora is super faint and low to the northern horizon, then it has to compete with the city-glow of Whitehorse to the north. The nearby Alayuk is a great place to try dog sledding.

Quiet, out of the way getaway with great staff, clean beautiful rooms and a sled hill! Amazing food, top notch service, and a hot tub to lay in while watching the northern lights.

I traveled solo and stayed two nights at the Boréale Explorers/Ranch during my visit to Yukon in mid-Feb. It's ~30 mins drive from Whitehorse. This place is so beautiful, peaceful and serene! I felt so relaxed the moment I arrived. Every staff that I met during my stay were friendly, helpful and very passionate about Yukon. A special shout out to David (I hope I get his name correct, I’m so bad with names). An extremely nice and fun guy with incredible attitude and much love for his work. I was treated very well from the moment he picked me up at my hotel in Whitehorse and throughout my whole stay there. The house is beautifully decorated too – I’ll let my photos speak for itself. The food was another highlight! It's sooo delicious! They've an incredible chef! The ranch provided all three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Breakfast was beautifully prepared with croissant, eggs, ham, porridge/oats, fruits etc. Lunch was a sandwich bar and dinner was a three-course meal! It was an indulgent and I felt so spoilt! I LOVED everything about my stay there! I wish I could stay longer. If I’ve time to visit Yukon again, I’d definitely stay here and longer this time! I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Yukon.
