We ordered volcano salmon roll and salmon teriyaki and both tasted really good and fresh.The food presentation was excellent and the customer service was great. The size/ proportion of the food was enough and the price was pretty fair as well. Highly recommend this place for their tasty sushi and awesome customer service!
Came here for dinner for 3 of us. The only time they had available reservation on a Sunday was after 7:45pm. When u arrived at that time there was probably 3 other tables. Atmosphere was mediocre nothing extremely fancy or special. You order your food on your phone and it gets send to the kitchen with your modifiers. Food arrived fairly quick. Appetizers arrived first and tempura tasted delicious and the deep fryer is very clean food don’t look too dark. The chicken Karaage is definitely not recommended; it tasted like store bought chicken nuggets. Sushi and sashimi was fresh and delicious; most importantly the price for this Japanese restaurant was extremely fair and reasonable. During time like this it’s hard to find this kind of pricing. Service was attentive but nothing special. I definitely recommend this location when your in the area. My husband and sister loved it.
I was really impressed with the food here. The prices are reasonable and portion sizes are good. The flavor and freshness was on point. They were very good with their vaccine policy and made sure that they followed regulations and ensured patron safety. On another note, I left my purse behind and the waitress actually came outside the restaurant and gave me back my purse. I will 100% be returning here for the food and the service!
Visited this sushi restaurant a couple times for dine in & take out and, really enjoyed it! Everything is fairly priced and tasty with great service! Would definitely recommend & come back!
The inside of the restaurant is modern and has a dim/romantic setting. The service was very good - they are quick to bring the food out and we’re attentive, although we were there on a Thursday and it was not very busy. they have lots of different sushi rolls, torched rolls, and different appetizers. The sashimi was fresh, the takoyaki was a little too soft on the inside, and some of the rolls didnt seem to use the freshest fish so it was a bit bland.
Got the Yorokobi Sushi For Two B to share. Portions were generous and sashimi cut thick. I ordered takeout often but this is the first time I've dined in since the pandemic. Very polite and friendly service, they kept coming over to refill my tea. I asked if I could upgrade the California roll to spicy Salmon roll and they did it for an extra $2 charge which was reasonable. I've ordered from this place on two occasions: once via Uber eats and once by pickup after ordering over the phone. Both times the experience was pleasant. They do charge for every extra sauce and additional request but the food was overall excellent and the prices are fair. I would definitely recommend this place for a sushi fix. Check it out when you can!
We came because we saw the 4.5 stars. The 2 of us ordered a lot of food for lunch and the waitress said only lunch has soup and salad. No business sense. Soup and salad are inexpensive stuff. Other Japanese restaurants would have given it for free to promote business and have return customers. Won't be back again. Food is ok. But staff has neither common sense, business sense nor EQ.
I came to this place on a Sunday evening with a party of 4. My friend and I split a few dishes that net us a bill of roughly $90. The service was quite friendly, granted it was on a Sunday. We ordered lobster tempura, hamachi carpaccio, some salmon dish, and a dragon maki set. Let's start with the positives. The batter consistency and fry on the tempura were both superb. It was crispy, and not in the least bit soggy with a very good consistency throughout. The vegetables were fresh and the broccoli wasn't saturated in oil : The hamachi and salmon were both very tasty with an amazing flavour profile adding in a good amount of savoury, sweetness, and slightly tangy tastes. The addition of avocado and cherry tomatoes were refreshing and didn't at all detract from the dish. Now unfortunately for the negatives, the lobster itself and the maki were underwhelming. The lobster was slightly salty and didn't have a good taste on its own. It felt either old or simply did not fit well with traditional tempura. The maki rolls were a bit dry and had too much filler substance of avocadoes and cucumbers. You couldn't taste much flavour in the sushi rice. Overall I think the fancier dishes like tataki, carpaccio, etc would be amazing to try at this place and definitely worth a cute date night. The place has a nice decorum and overall a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, it falls a bit short on price for quality.
First time eating at this restaurant for family dinner. Plenty of seating, nice decor, friendly service, good selection of items on the menu. Menu and placing your order is online making it quick and easy. For our party of 4 we ordered: Spicy Miso Soup Volcano Salmon Rol1 5pcs Godzilla Roll 6pcs Spicy Crunch Veg Roll 5pcs Sundae Roll 5pcs Dynamite Hand Roll 1pcs Chicken Karaage Spicy Bulgagi Assorted Tempura Everything was absolutely delicious that my family members ate everything so quickly making it difficult for me to savour the food!! 5/5 across the board for Yorokobi and 2/5 for my family who needs to slow down a bit when they eat! Will definitely be returning maybe with other people though so I can take my time to enjoy the food
