YMF Hair Salon

I have been going here for almost 4 years now and love the service. I have long hair and love different styles and colors. Struggled to find a hair stylist for years and finally found the right one. I have always left the salon loving my hair styles/colors and get a lot of compliments when I go in front of camera for my business.

I have been a long time customer of one of the owners of this salon. So long that I was seeing her even before she owned this place. I find myself leaving more and more disappointed after my visits. I tend to get the same thing done every time I see her, and yet the prices always fluctuate between $90-$150 each time, I just don't get it. I know a lot people with the same issue. I feel that the stylists, especially mine, are way to chatty, to chatty to the point where they don't even look at your hair while cutting or they will completely leave you for like 5 minutes at a time to start chatting with another customer. They over book which results in long waits and rushed appointments. My stylist in particular doesn't seem to listen to my wants and needs and only obsesses over making changes and doing something different. I am very simple...it's not that difficult. They have probably the most UNCOMFORTABLE wash stations, 50% of the time they use cold water, and they soak you too. The best part is that if you are unhappy with the colour or cut, they will charge you to correct it.

A decent and clean hair saloon. Staff is courteous. Hair dressing skill are also very good.
