I recently moved to Saskatoon and this is the first gym I went to. Two levels, a swimming pool, a hall for basketball and other sports sections. There is always enough space and plenty of exercise equipment.nIn general, I will stay here. We will continue to train!
The gym is always very neat , equipment well arranged, and the front desk personnel are always very polite, cheering and welcoming . Without any hesitations, I'll recommend this place to anyone who is interested in working out because this gym has almost every needed equipment and enough space, even for calisthenics workout.
The basketball floors are in a shockingly bad state of disrepair and neglect. First of all there are dead spots on both rims in the paint. It’s ok though dribbling isn’t important in basketball.nnThe floors straight up feel like you’re playing on a sidewalk. Worse even, atleast cement has a gritty texture. The floors are polished. Polished with dust. Basketball courts are supposed to have a visible sheen of polish that adds grip and texture. These floors look like something avenue living provides in their apartments. Cheap panelling.nnI understand the ymca is a charity, but with the state of the floors in the basketball gym my suggestion would just be to close the gym permanently if you can’t afford to maintain it. Because what you guys are doing now is basically a scam .
Great place for kids!nI MUST to edit my review nI highly recommend this place, not just for kids!nThe staffs are friendly and helpful!nThey just renewed their gym and washrooms. Their pool are fantastic! ‍ They have tons of kind of workouts ‍ ‍‍‍nBut my favourite one…nkarate Wado Kai nBest SENSEI ever! They are FANTASTIC with the kids. I love the way they teach all the kids.nSeriously, guys!!! I highly recommend you to put your kids perhaps yourself to their karate class!
Nice spot great work out room but I gotta say I do love those co Ed swim classes they really get me going for some nice bag lunch and hit the weights
