I have received the same products more than once, some are given sausage, milk, meat, and we have the feeling that we are the last products, because we are Ukrainians. Today I got something for two. Shame on your boss. I have seen and heard many times from people who drop off products without registration through the back door, and then the person comes back and stands in line a second time. Take measures, please, we are also people, there is no need to divide us, otherwise we will have to go to the mayor of the city and write a complaint to your organization. Or close this aid altogether because they give expired products there
Went to food bank today. I recieved exact same expired pasta I got last time I went over a month ago. Everyone was getting milk except me. I was excited to get grapes, when I got home both cartons of grapes were soak and wet and full of mold maybe 10 okay grapes.... This is totally unacceptable. My husband and I are struggling. I feel bad enough having to go to the food bank but if all you get is expired and moldy food , very dented canned food,what's the point????? Very disappointing.
Convenient location. Many thanks to the workers, staff and volunteers for organizing the whole process. Polite girls at the reception, in the building they serve in masks, there are disinfectants.
The food bank always came in handy growing up. I still use the food bank to this day. Lots of people would be hungry if the food bank was no longer here. The workers are always kind and friendly as well.
The work this organization does for the community is incredible. Nothing but praise and respect for the Saskatoon Food Bank. Erin the volunteer organizer has a heart of gold.
