First time visiting this bubble tea shop downtown and tried the marble boba thai tea and asked for less sugar, however the drink itself was still very sweet. Decent bubble tea but would request for less sugar
Usually Yang is one of my go-top bubble tea places but this last time we went was very disappointing. We ordered three drinks their latest rose promotion for Valentine's Day and while they tasted relatively OK, there were obviously a lot of mistakes. First, we ordered three large cups and they weren't even filled to the top. The rose latte ones were almost half empty given the amount of foam, which was way too much. When we stirred it in, it was like drinking a super thick milkshake. The rose flavour was good but the consistency was like scooping and eating whipped cream. There was also nothing "matcha" about the rose matcha latte at all. The tapioca pearls were also very hard, which was unusual. The foam was also missing from the rose foam citrus tea. Overall, super disappointing. I get that the barista was rushed because she's the only one there, but to fill a cup up almost halfway and then dump some foam in and STILL have it be about a third empty?
Such a lovely drink. I got the Marble Taro Milk tea. I got it with 50% sugar and 50%ice it was the perfect quantity. It was not too sweet at the level. It was a unique drink compared to other taro drinks. I would recommend trying that drink if you have not been yet. The service was fast too.
Tried thai bubble milk tea. Absolutely amazing! Will definitely try again Friendly staff Nice and cozy place Parking: No free parking available Need to park somewhere else and come to the place
Got a passion fruit tea with 50% sugar and a passion slush today. Both tasted amazing! The worker was so polite and pacient. Definitely coming back here.Food: 5/5
Yang's teashop has been one of my latest bbt shop finds. The downtown location is a rather small but lively location. They have a wide selection of teas to choose from with the standard modifications that can be made. My favourite so far has been the Okinawa milk tea. The staff are really friendly and informative.
Got the classic marble tea latte made with brown sugar and it was delicious! It is very sweet so if you don’t like your boba being too sweet definitely do half the sugar. Great service and quick!
love their roasted brown sugar Okinawa style milk tea~ not super super sweet, but the sweetness from the tea perfectly mix well with the sweet and salty cheese foam their pearls are also super chewy and sweet, heard that their quality ingredients imported from Taiwan too! Large selection of all kinds of tea that you can customize. Their tea latte is also really popular, probably will come back to try it out! The marble brown sugar boba tea latte and fresh taro tea latte are both two of their really popular drinks~ I really liked this taro drink cuz they use fresh taro, and puts it all around the cup and fills a scoop at the bottom too. The taro flavour paired the milky-ness of the drink really well~ but I just couldn't really taste "the tea" taste to it it was really really subtle however, I do LOVE how you can really taste a lot of the natural sweetness from chunks of taro in the drink throughout! Available in both cold & hot too. Okinawa Milk Tea + pearls + milk foam - $6.80 Caramel Toffee Milk Tea - $4.30 Marble Fresh Taro Tea Latte - regular $6.00
I got the mango tea slush, slight sugar. It was pretty delicious, sweet enough for me, I am glad I decided slight sugar option. It is a cold drink with mango, green tea and crushed ice together, I requested additional regular tapioca with it. For drinks with milk they have almond, soy, organic milk options, you can ask for tapioca to any drink, also for sugar you can select slight, regular, extra, very customizable. Clean trendy place, friendly staff.
I go here often and love their membership program! The strawberry kiwi oolong tea is one of the best drinks I’ve ever bought.Recommended dishesCoconut Jelly
