The best baozi in Edmonton! We've tried every flavour and like them all. Make sure you call ahead to reserve what you want. Prices vary by flavour most are $12 to $14 for a box which has 8 in them. If you can't read Mandarin ask for them to write in English on the box to know which is which or else it's only written in Mandarin.
For Chinese, it’s a wonderful place to taste some home food! Just give it a shot! Never know till try it! Best steam bun in Edmonton and their LiangPi is a must-try! Strongly recommended!!
Authentic Chinese food. Excellent steam buns at a very reasonable price. Take out only.Food: 5/5
A few people recommended me to try this restaurant for their authentic Chinese food, namely their Buns Baozi. Overall, I agree with their statement that this restaurant probably has the best buns in Edmonton. Their pork+scallion buns was really good: good portion of meat, meat to bread ratio, good flavour, and very juicy. Their price is also amazing - $12/8 buns enough for ~2meals. In terms of food, the only thing is that the “juice/soup” from one or two of the buns were kind of leaking. Also, there is minimal service i.e. getting a glass of water if you are to dine in.
Take out only though but it is definitely a good place to try some authentic Chinese food. The price is also very reasonable.Recommended dishesSteam Buns, Spicy Duck
Amazing. Best steam buns we have had in the city. Fresh, good portions, and great flavours. Definitely recommend.
Best buns I have ever had. Very juicy filling and tender meat.
Food is great for sure, but the lady boss was arrogant and didn't really understand customer service. One time I was left unattended for almost 20 minutes waiting to pay for my order which was sitting at the counter ready for pickup. When I politely asked her to hire another person, she took offence and responded with something along the lines of "well if I did how would I make a profit for my business?"
Established by two old couple. Lady boss is very friendly. Food is very authentic traditional street food of Northern China near Tian-jin. Definitely is a secret jewel of Edmonton. It's all hand-made by the old couple, please make an order a day before for them to prepare up. The wait is worth it!!
Very good Chinese bao! But the other stuff on the menu is just ok.
