Very quiet and clean. The hosts are nice and assist with parking your rig. Not all sites have sewer hook up but on Canyon Rd there is a free dump site. 4 stars because it lacks any amenities, no bathrooms or showers...port a potty for tent use. No cable hook up and local TV is very limited. Very dark at night, really minimal lighting. Close to the Yakima River which runs much too fast to swim the dogs there but nice area for walking. Also, freight train blows it's horn nightly. Convenient to I 90 and Ellensburg.

Well where do I start with this park, we stayed there a couple months due to work and would have moved if it were not such a pain and lack of parks. The only way this parks gets tenants is due to the lack of parks in the area. First, the owners have zero personality and are horrible dealing with the public. They yell at people, they are generally not friendly people. The park has zero amenities, no office, no club, no pool, no bathrooms, yet they charge an arm and a leg. A month stay here with electricity is about $750 a month, I think they make a bit of money on the electricity. They also charge you $25 a month if you have a second vehicle to park. There are only a few full hookup sites, the one we were in was so tight that my awnings actually went all the way over to the next rig, I had to not fully extend them as it would hit the other rig. You are not allowed to park in your space, they make you park in an area away from your rig, you have to drive between trees to get in and out, it is dirt and very tight for pickup truck type vehicles. The place is quiet, the wifi is horrible, you get on and it kicks you off, then try to get on and there is no Internet. Half the time it is not working at all, it is super slow and only good for email if you can get on. The water, well they have small areas of grass that they water, when they water, you have no water pressure. They water nearly every day and if you need a shower or something, you are out of luck until the evening when they stop watering. There is also a foul odor in the water that makes you stick to bottled water. The sites are gravel, the road in had small pipes running across it and the owner decided to put gravel speed bumps in. He has no idea what he is doing and the bumps were so high that the car bottomed out when you went over them and scraped along the bottom. When you complain, it goes in one ear and out the other, they do not care, they care about money and seem to hate people in general. Because the owners are so bad here, we will never again stay here, yelling at people because they show up 30 minutes prior to their check in time is a bit much. People with no interpersonal skills should not be in a business like this. The other park down the street has new managers and really fixing up that park and getting rid of the old nasty full time trailers, plus it is a couple hundred dollars cheaper and includes daily breakfast in the hotel. We moved there and are much happier.

We have been coming here off and on since 2007 in order to visit family in the area. The park is well maintained and it is quiet. Darlene Grant and the camphost are always friendly and helpful. They have made many improvements to the grounds over the years. A free wifi service is available and it works well. The setting is that of farm and ranch land. The only negative is that for the many spaces available there are few full hookup sites.

We travel for work & have been on the road for a few years. This is definitely one of the nicer parks we've stayed at along our travels. We had anticipated being there a few months & had gotten a monthly site, though after being there a few days we found out we were moving out of the area due to a change at work. The owner was exceptionally fair & refunded us so that we only had to pay the weekly rate. She was a tad uptight about a few things but very nice, helpful, & accomodating. The camp hosts were also very friendly & inviting, we enjoyed chatting with them. The park is very clean & tidy. It is tucked away but only a few miles from town & far enough off the river that you don't have mosquitoes all over. My only complaint would be that the train is nearby & it sounds the horn each time it crosses the road (though to no fault of the RV Park). If we head back to the area, we would love to stay here again!

The woman over the phone told me that my two under 40 lb mixed breed dogs were not allowed because they were part pit bull and she couldn't have "dangerous breeds." The only thing dangerous here is that lady's ignorant attitude; this country is really hurting for intelligence and compassion, not more ignorance and fear. My dogs are more well behaved than a lot of store-bought breeds I encounter in RV parks, are never off leash and have never bothered anyone. Get a clue!
