This was my son's favorite Park to go to in a town filled with parks. It has a nice shaded area to say cool in the summer and because of the trees it is not nearly as windy as many of the other parks are in this windy town. It has a gazebo with BBQ pits and tables a public restroom that is clean and even a power outlet to plug stuff in if you need it for your picnic. There is also a large grass area for playing frisbee, setting up croquet or sunbathing. This peak is adjacent to the Rotary Park which is huge with the baseball fields, soccer fields, dog park and BMX park. But like my son said West Ellensburg park has the best playground toys and a working drinking fountain.

Smaller of the parks but good playground, grass, and covered picnic area. Restrooms are kinda far and don't have soap or hand sanitizer.
