Checked out this store for the first time today, and was blown away by the abundant selection of retro games/consoles/special editions inside! They had the 2 specific games that I had been hunting around the city for, and the owner of the store was very friendly and knowledgeable about their entire inventory - we had quite a nice chat about game collecting, and she also has her own personal collection on display inside the store which is "effing" impressive, to put it mildly! Highly recommend checking this place out. Will definitely be visiting again.
I came across this “ Museum” on a chat group : this place was highly recommended for their massive collection . Amazing nostalgia place to pick up old games! Picked up some great gems . Big selection of Pop Figurines ! Fair prices . I am really glad to have shopped at Xtreme Games Interactive . Then owner she was super helpful, and friendly. Definitely looking forward to coming back !
After coming back to this location after a 3 year gap because of Covid I returned to a store that welcomes their customers and makes them feel comfortable. The owner gave my best friend and I the best customer service ever. She was very kind and we had a great laugh. Also having great taste in the AC franchise. She helped us out in giving us a reasonable price for the DS games we bought and I can't wait to play some Mario Kart while on the transit. I plan in coming back soon in doing more purchases because there was a lot more that caught my eye.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This place is a complete joke that is inflating it's prices like crazy. For example Kirby's Dreamland 3 usually goes for around $200-$300 no box if you check on eBay but these guys are trying to make you pay double that. The pricing on all their labels are incorrect. They have to text the owner to get the new price, which takes like 10 minutes, only for you to find out it's gonna cost way more than what was originally being shown. Xtreme Games Interactive is a huge waste of money when you know how to do research. Buying/collecting is always gonna be pricey but this is insulting. If you want to collect games check Kijiji or Facebook Marketplace. If you wanna go to a game store try A and C or Video Game Experts my personal favorite. Don't be fooled by their nice looking selection, this is ridiculous.
My first time visiting this “ Museum “. I am astonished at the vast collection. From Retro to New gen consoles. I had heard amazing reviews but had to see it for myself . It is by far the largest canadian independently owned video game retailer I have ever seen . PS5, PS4, Xbox One, SNES, N64. Other platforms. Such as SNES, NES, ATARI, TurboGrafx, SEGA, N64, SATURN, DreamCast, Genesis, GameBoy, Colleco, Jaguar, Wii-U, 3DS, PSVita, PS3, ps1, XBOX 360 and Wii. !!! Wow just , wow I am extremely happy to have gone . Great selection. Prices are fair market value. Met the owner. Sandra was very professional yet funny and knowledgeable of her craft. I was sad upon hearing the Shop had been closed for over a year due to Covid! I picked up a few gems to add to my collection. Definitely a happy shopper . I look forward to returning to Xtreme Games!
I met the owner today @ Xtreme Games and I went to sell my system and she told me that my system was alot more then I wanted to sell it. I appreciate the honesty and I will now be coming here to buy all my gaming stuff. Very nice and I appreciate the old school service. Thabk you Xtreme Games for your advice and experience.
Unfortunately, every time I've tried to visit this place for the last two years it has been locked with lights off despite what their website, signage, and Google says. It would seem either they are closed forever or just open whenever they feel. Shame as I used to visit often! Happy to change review if someone can enlighten me as to what's going on.
Nope never going back here again. I had exchanged an N64 game that was sold to me from there that didn’t work, the game I exchanged it for was $10 more than the other game I bought. She originally sold it for $80 but dropped it down to $70 for me so I’d only pay an extra $10 to exchange it. Later I looked at the pricing for that game online it was $25-$30. Total rip off. Wasted my time selling me a game that doesn’t work and also ripping me off in the process. No thanks.
Amazing inventory, kind owner who cares about her store and video games. Fair prices for modern times and overall my favourite place to go for retro and modern games If you got a chance to come here you absolutely should
The owner is so kind, sweet and genuine. It's very clear she cares very much about what she does. The selection here is awesome, definitely check it out.
