Xpress Service d'auto

Hi everyone, Few months ago my father brought his VW to change front coils springs (part of the suspension). Mechanic assigned to do the job used a heavy punch and somehow managed, using a lot of force, to unscrew the bolt that holds the axle (procedure to get the coils out). While doing it he completely damaged the thread in that bolt on the driver's side. Few days passed, front bearing started to make noise which brought our attention. Upon inspection we realized that the front bearing was also damaged because of the job done at Xpress Service d'Auto. The problem was that they denied doing the damage to his car once my father went back to talk to them. Also denied using the punch to unscrew the bolt. Funny thing is that nobody touched the car between then and now. But even worse was that they let him drive the car in that condition. The bolt could of come out at any time while driving and the car could loose it's front wheel causing an accident or even worse, can't even think about it. And obviously they didn't care about my father's safety, only about his money. No excuse or proposal what so ever. Very dishonest and not willing to assume their responsibility garage. We are not the kind of people to complain but when it comes to safety, I will warn everybody about the quality of work this garage does. They suppose to fix the issue with coil springs, not create another one and hide it from us. End result was: front driver's side axle had to be changed with new bolt and new front bearing and more money had to be spend. Those damages caused by their garage were very pricey to repair. Consider yourself warned if you would like to trust this garage with your car and the quality of work they do, especially when it comes to yours or your family safety. Have a great day...
