Trying to get clarification on my case. I've spoken to Jay who is super nice and helpful before. No complaints at all with him. I would give him 5 stars. He's doing great. Lori I think her name is, is super rude and I hate talking to her. She's condescending and not helpful at all.
No matter who you have "assigned" to your case, be prepared to get treated like dogsh*t for needing help. Kasey is the kind of person who would steal your wallet & pretend to help you look for it. Seriously, these people desperately need oversight. A financial audit would do them good as well. I keep getting notices that my personal protected health information was leaked outside of DHS by more than 1 Wright County employee. You WILL be frustrated, you might end up in tears, but you will definitely be treated poorly no matter your own demeanor. Sadly, those needing assistance from DHS don't get to choose whether or not they were handed a disability or another life circumstance that has them down & in despair.
Terrible place with terrible people. My senses tell me there is a demonic presence in this building. I recommend a spiritual cleansing after you leave otherwise the evil could follow you home.
Approved for a pca and there is no reasonable reason my t-Rex clawed hands, needs contant watching walking and now thanks to the cruelty of nothing, although I AM APPROVED, I have broken four ribs and punctured a lung and still don’t have a pca! Through word of mouth I found out I finally have a new social worker who hasn’t bothered to get a hold of me so this is off to an awesome start after dealing with a do nothing arrogant social worker who’s caused months of literal agony. She even wrote me to hire my own pca in June - totally leaving me on my own, then I did, and she STILL would not approve the hours even though the county has me approved for 40 a week. In home services - a similar service started immediately when I came home from the hospital for breaking my ribs but only for a measly 10 hours a week and not the extent to the help I need - but close enough if I could get more hours to have a life. But some think a life is alone and bed ridden and in danger of your own falling. All I can come up with is bitter? Trying to keep money? Hates advanced MS patients? Really bad at her job and when it’s pointed out gets worse? Self loathing? Trying out for movie villain? I used to be a reporter. I would have initially guessed overworked but instead it seems a culture of compassion’s death. Perhaps due to being overworked - but one hears the stories of guards laughing at the migrant in cages on chat boards with lack of humanity and can’t help but wonder if they social workers have lost their sense of humanity as well. For how they can let people literally begging for services that would allow them to bathe to go ignored so long? The most basic of service. May your neighbor have clean feet? It should not take breaking ribs and puncturing a lung to get clean feet. What will it take to get a shower? Surely wright county demands my bones in paralysis or death.
Even though it's a courthouse and they can be frustrating in general. The staff here is friendly and helpful in trying to figure out how to solve any issues you may have.
Had no change so I had to walk across the street to Walgreens and buy something so I could pay in exact amount. Other than that they seemed nice and somewhat knowing what they were supposed to be doing.
Very nice people who didn't try to hassle or shame me. Expedited my medical benefits to accommodate an error on my part. I was extremely grateful.
Always great to go through. Everyone could improve some.
Not too helpful. Getting autistic adult on programs is very difficult and confusing.
