The Wrangler Cafe was established in the early 1970’s. It’s first home on the east side of Pinedale became a favorite meeting place for all the ranchers and locals. The cafe became known for it’s down home cooking. Hand made rolls, biscuits, and wonderful pies, the cafe has seen many changes through the years including an address change. Not too long ago, the building, walks and all were moved right down main street through the center of town on its way to a new location. Many of the townsfolk made bets at which street it would come off its trailer, but the Wrangler made the journey to where it sits today.
As Pinedale’s popularity grew because of it’s wide open spaces, Wild Wind River Range and pristine mountain lakes, so did the Wrangler. It’s still a
favorite to all its locals, as well as sportsman, snowmachiners, mountaineers, gas workers and all adventurists. The Wrangler Cafe still prides itself in making home-style meals, fresh baked biscuits, rolls, pies and providing fast friendly service.
