Stockmans Mountain Man Tavern & Hotel

A small group of us went in for dinner. There were several empty tables. Probably 15 patrons at tables. After 10 minutes of waiting at the door, we seated ourselves. A waiter apologized for the wait. They only had 2 waiters and one cook. We decided to try and understand so we said there was no problem. After 45 more minutes of waiting it became a problem. No one else acknowledged our existence. No drinks, no apologies. Several people finished their dinner and left. Still no comments from the waiters. The waiters had time to clean tables but not to speak with us. We finally decided to leave. We got up and a waiter walked right by us. Never said a word. Will never go back.

Only one table was occupied when my friend and I arrived. We asked for a drink menu and waited for ten minutes before deciding to get up to walk out. No one noticed we walked out. I don't believe in rating a restaurant experience on one trip alone, probably will retry in the future. We were not a priority at all with our first visit. (Could be a training opportunity)

The food was good, solid fare. The service was excellent! Nice new renovated interior. Great improvement!

Such a beautiful restaurant. Since it's new opening with new management this place has been amazing! I love the staff. So friendly and really willing to please. The head chef and manager came out to every table and greeted everyone in the dinning area. The food is so fresh too. The steaks and fish sandwiches we had were amazing and cool to perfection. I defiantly will be a returning customer!

My visits here have always been top notch since the re-opening! Food is great and the service is always spectacular! On several occasions the owner has even checked with me to make sure the meal was satisfying! Our waiter Zac is always on top of it, checking with us numerous times to make sure we don't need anything!! Highly recommended!
